Masteries: these are the masteries i go with for most my meele dps just gives you basic increased damage output and other handy things like armor pentration and dodge.

Runes: Quite simple to be honest amour pentration and dodge is your main stats with a bit of health runes if suvivrabilty is a issue.

Summon abilites i enjoy using heal and ignite just cause ignite can be very handy in eary game and can help your damage late and heal keeps u alive other ones you can consider is flash or ghost for escape and exhaust for 1v1's

How to play
Early game as soon as your level 2 you can leap empower and thats what you want to be doing if you enemy gives even the slightest chance bang empower leap you have to be quick as pro's noticed the lit latern and run back but if you can do it quickly good as if people give you a chance take it you should do a lot and by a lot i mean it for any non tank at this point and your laning parter will love you BUT if you notice your enemy is aggresive and once you leap empower them they start hitting you and trying to kill you be more cautious as its not worth dying as many groups i have seen in the lanes once i leap empower exhaust other slow dead
Mid game keep laning you should be one of the strongest or strongest 1v1 champion and should just focus on leveling but situationally you can gank fouc on gold mostly so when nothing is happening go quickly grab lizard or golem
Late game This is your prime time team fight time some things you should never do initate and be stupid and thing you incvible becauce of your ultimate just let your tank go in and burst there carries down super quickly and not to focus on tanks and win you will be ownage just keep doing this and you will be amazing
