Introduction

JAX: First off there are a few things you should know... A: This is my first build, B: I play Jax alot. With my build I've solo'd Baron and have got quintikills. Also, let me know if you have any questions, comments, so on. I'm always open to debates as long as you know what your talking about.

Runes

Okay Runes are pretty standard. Its Jax I mean, dodge and attack, quickly that is.

Masteries

Okay now this is where I explain why the hell "heal" and "ghost" are good spells. Jax is the kind of character that if you fight him you blow up half his health then think yes i'mma kill a Jax. Two seconds go by and you realize your dead. However i've also seen others play Jax and try to jump on say Brand or some other burst champ and think they will have enough time to pick up attack speed. Wrong. I take heal into battle because especially early game it helps give you that extra 2 seconds to stay in battle. I take ghost for simply running away or chasing. Jax is already a pretty quick character but ghost makes him out run almost anyone.

Chapter 4

But anyways
Masteries. As you can see I put it mainly all in attack with ghost and heal help and a little magic resist.

Items

Start with cloth armor, its cheep it helps you build your boots and you can get

3 health pots and 1 mana pot with it.

Try not to "b" until you have 550 gold so you can pick up your ninja tabi boots before running back.

When you start going back around level 6 or so you should be able to get your rage blade which will really help you out. It is one of 2 must have items if your playing jax. Now your attacks pick up speed faster and your third hit does a ton of damage.

the hextech gunblade is the other must for Jax. With damage, spell vamp, and life steal just on the passive then active it does damage and slows the target its a rape the enemy item.

The Bloodthirster is well a bloodthirster this item is needed if you want the power to quintikill or solo baron.

infinity edge is there to increase your general attack so that your life steal from the blood thurster will keep you alive when their entire team is fighting you.

finally right around end game your jumping into a crowed and they always seem to kill you before you really build up steam and can unleash hell... introducing the phantom dancer. This will allow you to max out your attack speed super quick.

How to play Jax

Jax can be the most terrifying champ ever or the mvp for the other team. My build is built off how I play. If you dont play similar my build wont kick as much *** for you. Dont be afraid to use empower on minions. Jax hits hard but sometimes an empower to quickly level up or get gold is needed. Try to lane against a squishy if at all possible because at level 2 you can empower then jump on the person hitting them really hard. Against an ashe you can instantly take away half her health. I typically will last hit minions then when I have a clean shot to harass i simply use empower jump on an enemy if I have a stun up i'll stun them than run back behind my minions. I recommend trying for a very early champ kill between levels 1-3. Mid game is jax's only weakness so if your already fed it will zip by. Jax is a quick character and is deadly 1v1 so always watch for the back door because you can wreck all their back door dreams. i usually will use empower then leap strike to engage an attack then spam "w" and "e" use them when ever they are up. If your running low on mana and have to start deciding between "w" and "e" judge it by how fast your attacking. if you are already a 10 and 8 stack attack use 'w" to stop them and attack 4 times before they're up if you are only at 2 then use your e for massive damage. I avoid using "q" after the first attack and i always keep enough mana for a "q" this is incase i'm getting blown up i can run away with it and jump on my minion its basically like a flash but with a tiny cool down in comparison.
