Jungle Bruiser Talon Guide

By Ponger
General

I felt like sharing my thoughts about jungle talon because while I don't think it may be as strong as conventional junglers, it's a lot of fun and not as bad as people think.

I think the main thing about jungle talon is that you're looking for a 1v5. He doesn't have much utility or CC, and you mainly look to get ahead and just carry. However if you make good decisions, you'll see how powerful his impact can be.
Pathing+Early Game
I start Red, then clear Krugs to Wolves to Blue to Gromp. (Usually Smite+Potion on Krugs, Potion on Wolves, then Smite on Blue). Remember that Melee Q is stronger than Ranged Q. Talon is strong early, but that doesn't mean you have to take every fight you see. While you do win many matchups early, take your time and tread carefully. Rush Tiamat into Boots and Ironspike Whip. My general rule of thumb is that I should have Tiamat, Lucidity Boots, and Ironspike Whip by Level 8.
Mid-Game
Two approaches, and by now you should have around Goredrinker and Ravenous Hydra. If you're relatively fed, or if your team needs you to fight, you can choose to take teamfights. Or if you want an alternative, you can hyperfarm and hit items through that. Contest objectives, as you'll typically be ahead in levels compared to the enemy jungler.
Late-Game
By now you should be looking to end, as Talon falls off late. Look to take Elder and Baron, and catch out people. Talon's E and R allow for a ton of narrow escapes, as his cooldowns are also incredibly low with the amount of Haste built. Even with a bruiser style build, you can typically one shot the enemy adc and still live. W+Q+R+AA is a simple combo to kill squishies.
