I'm a fan. I think - and I mean 'think' - a Hextech GB would work too, but I'm not an expert on Voli. +1 definately, but see if you can spice things up a bit (an image here and there, something like that).

For my review:

- Your build items are good and are quite typically for Volibear. There is nothing wrong with that though.

- Your runes are also very nice for jungling, good choices.

- Masteries are also good for a jungler and then for playing the tank role that Volibear fulfills.

- In your runes section you do coding for the second tier runes. To emphasize your points for your runes you must do the third tier runes so Greater Mark of Desolation or Greater Quintessence of Endurance.

- Summoner Spells are fine.

- For the rest of the sections it is a bunch of white text so you need to read johijohi's Guide to Making A Guide (Rated 94% in Top Rated section). This will help you to make you guide look better with more coding as well as putting in pitcures, videos, borders, etc.

For a 1st guide it is a great start. However do not abandon it!! Keep improving the guide as much as you can. +1 though for what you have now.

Thank you for your comments. I plan to keep this guide up to date with tactics as I develop them and with pertinent updates based on jungle meta changes. Best of luck jungling.

Solid build, but I really recommend to switch the quintessences to movement speed ones. Your job is to 1.Fling back an enemy carry 2.Tank the damage. But of course those squishies wont just stand there waiting for you, and AD's even tend to build Phantom Dancer. So it really all comes down to if you can reach the right target in time and use the fling properly. The extra %hp shines later on, but at that point it doesnt really matter because if you are focused its probably a won teamfight.

Thanks for all the positive feedback! As for the movespeed quints, you're right that its a trade of early assisting power vs. late game, and if you find that you have carries you can rely on on your team, and that your matches aren't usually going for 35+ minutes then it is viable to switch, but in solo-duo or if you have non-squishy teams I prefer health. However if you're in shorter matches with squishy allies/opponents you might find that flat AD quints are better still.

Heal has been nerfed twice since I posted the guide, and I don't usually run it on anyone except voli any more, but for voli it simply synergizes too well with his passive to ignore; you can use it the moment the passive procs for a massive result, or you can use it to keep your passive from procing at all in a smaller skirmish, plus healing allies is always, always appreciated.

Voli is actually one of the only jungles able to provide what he does.. he is arguably stronger in jungle than Singed for the fling and slow ganks, his tankyness allows him to counter-jungle if you so please and his ult is invaluable in later team-fights. He isn't a jungle who will blaze through the camps and then 1v1 the opponent to death like Udyr, and he isn't a jungle that requires the buffs to decimate in a gank like Skarner, but if you actually follow the guide he is a top-tier jungle tank.
