Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
There is a place between dimensions, between worlds. To some it is known as the Outside, to others it is the Unknown. To those that truly know, however, it is called the Void. Despite its name, the Void is not an empty place, but rather the home of unspeakable things - horrors not meant for minds of men. Cho'Gath is a creature born of the Void, a thing whose true nature is so awful most will not speak its name. Its fellows have been poking at the walls that divide dimensions for a crack, a way into Runeterra, where they can visit their own personal paradise of horror upon the world. They are called the Voidborn, creatures so ancient and terrible that they have been removed from history altogether. It is rumored that the Voidborn command vast armies of unspeakable creatures on other worlds, that they were once driven from Runeterra by powerful magic lost to antiquity.
If such tales are true, then the rumors that follow must be equally true - that one day, the Voidborn will return. Even now, something dark stirs in Icathia, perverting the summoning rituals of the League to allow the presence of Cho'Gath. It is an alien creature of malice and violence, a thing that causes all but the most stalwart to cringe in fear. Cho'Gath even appears to feed on its predations, growing and swelling as it gorges itself. Worse yet, the creature is intelligent, perhaps greatly so, making most wonder how such a monster could be contained. Fortunately, the power of the League's summoning has confined Cho'Gath's presence exclusively to the League of Legends. It is here that summoners use Cho'Gath's Voidborn abilities to help decide the fate of Runeterra. The Terror of the Void knows what fate it would choose for Runeterra, given half the chance.
"Woe betides the day when Cho'Gath grows weary of the League."
Just for the heads up he is an exceeding jungler and also that people wonder why u get a trinity force. Dont wry what the people say it gives more of a bruiser effect with his feast as he can add a large amount of dps. It seems weird but its ****ing ridiculous.
Pros / Cons
Super jungler lvl 6 (Feast)
Keep the cc
Passive makes jungling 10x easier
No good escape if abilities are on cd
Its usually best to stick with GHOST and SMITE due to them being the best abilities for jungling and for ganking a lane with flash.
These are some other spells effects on Cho jungle :P
TELEPORT Not good for when hes jungling, only if u have a good support that wards like a beast and puts them very tactically
FLASH If u want to get that last Feast then its not bad, but hes got enough abilities to keep them at bay
IGNITE He puts out enough cc and dps that its not that much of a worry, get incase they have uber healing heroes
HEAL Hes got alot of health. aka heal is like giving him 100 hp5 for like 5 seconds... not useful
GHOST This will help u catch up with enemies and retreat easily due to having blue buff from jungling. itll help with cd to make sure people cant run away
CLARITY if ur a moron, this would be best :P JUNGLE SUPPORT CHO *****!!!
EXHAUST only good if u know they have a stronger jungler than you and they are prone to counter jungle. other than that ur team should be helping u at blue anyways so not too much importance
CLAIRVOYANCE Chogath WANTS TO SEE EVERYTHING!!! **** that. supports got this job
REVIVE Im gonna smoke some more crack while this becomes more useless for junglers
PROMOTE Hmmmmmm. Promote on Nash??? :3
SMITE Core spell needed to jungle successfully. it also triggers his passive when he kills someone with it so it helps him keep his health up and mana while jungling
The items used for this build are the best, but just in case of other alterations, ur MERCURY TREADS can be replaced with NINJA TABI for more sustain against AD carries.
U can always change ur SHURELYA'S REVERIE with any item for sustain, but it helps u catch up to unfeasted foes. U could replace it with pure items like THORNMAIL or even a WARMOG'S ARMOR to be a beefy *****. Also if they have lots of cc u should grab a BANSHEE'S VEIL or a QUICKSLIVER SASH (probs more towards BANSHEE'S VEIL due to its better overall stats and that ur beefy enough to sustain lots of cc)
