From my experience noc needs atleast %12 AS from runes to take blue buff level 1 without a leash
the damage per level can be replaced with armor pen if you like but i just havent had the ip to get armor pen runes ive been working on my tank pages so this is just what i use now

Masteries

my masteries are self explanatory if you've ever played a dps jungler in league of legends

Items

Ok so first thing i gotta say is people are stupid when it comes to noc...YOU DONT NEED TO STACK AS ON HIM...ok now that thats out of my system ill explane why.
with the items masteries and runes that i have ill break it down

Bloodrazors - %40 AS

Youmuu's active - %50 AS

Runes - %12 AS

Masteries - %4 AS

Properly used Shroud of Darkness - %80(%40 from passive, %40 from active)

thats a total of %186 increased AS on his .987 base attack speed which comes out to about 2.82 hps and with an AS cap of 2.5 hps you dont need to stack atack speed

armor pen is good on any ad carry so thats why i get a last wisp

bloodthirster gives you massive damage and good lifesteal

noc is extreamly hard to get way from. why not get a frozen mallet and make it next to impossible

Skill Sequence

i max my sheild first so i can get the most AS the fastest

followed by dusk for additional damage and chase ability

then your fear so i have some kind of ap so it does some kind of damage

Summoner Spells

noc is an amazing jungler and a perfect ganker. i use smite for jungleing
flash as a means of escape or initation if my ulti is on cd

Summary

when jungling nocturn you should start at blue. get your dusk and try to agro it in a position where your passive will splash to the small guys aswell to max your lifesteal.

you should be ganking by level 4. if every lane is pushing too hard for you to gank let them know before you go that your heading to that lane and to let them push. if they dont still make an apearance in lane so that they can see your level and that you are getting farm.

nocturne is an extreamly dangerous character and you will be focused so make sure you have a tank or tanky dps that can catch everyones focus while you do all the damage
