I personal use build 1 almost every single time and i prefer it a lot more. Also, the reason i do not build lantern is because early on its a pretty big buy and leaves you pretty squishy. For the same price you get an early phillo stone which will keep your mana and health regen up plus the free gold, a ruby crystal for tankyness and can even have the null mantle from your mercs. Great guide, and you should buy elixir if u have 250 gold and u dont have enough to buy item, not at the end.ELIXIR HELPS ALOT!  |

If you spend too much money on elixirs through out the game when its not 100% necessary it will really hurt your build speed. |

Y, but if u buy elixir u will dominate in game and with elixirs u will get kills 100% ;) |

Alright seems like a decent Skarner build, but here is a thought: With your first build, you don't build a  Heart of Gold, and you start with boots of speed. I recommend (A) You should start with a regrowth pendent over boots of speed. The problem with Skarner is that his ganks pre level 6 are terrible he just get's kited and has no real gap closer. Also, if you start regrowth pendent you'll have more sustain in the jungle allowing you to farm more, and get to level 6 faster. (B) You should definitely build a heart of gold on the first build mainly because you are not building much tankiness for a while. I mean yes Wit's End has magic resist, and Phage provides some health, but you're going to need more than that if you're going to be initiating for your team. Hope I helped, and have a fantastic day!
