Introduction

The point of this build is to create a quick and effective jungle based Lee Sin that can easily swing into the lanes for kills or saves. With the correct build and jungling order a player can easily slip in and out of the jungle while keeping an effective level gain and dominating the Dragon early game, and late game soloing Baron.

Runes

The rune set up is to optimize damage which is important early game since your only source of life steal will be the second ability of your shield. So maximizing damage done and using armor pen and attack speed runes will give you the best start, it also makes ganking very effective as you'll be doing more damage than expected by the enemy team.

Masteries

The focus in this mastery set up is on offense, particularly armor pen, att speed, and damage like the run set up. The reason for this is to focus on what is important to the build. Optimizing dmg early game is very important to ganking with LS. The time dead and exp boost are added in order to balance mistakes and movement time. End game his masteries give him an edge on the competition which is valuable to your team.

Items

The first items to buy are Cloth Armor and 2 pots, you can buy a third or fourth to be safe but the point here is to lower dmg intake and keep your health up for fights you should have trouble with. This allows for early Blue and Red buffs and even Dragon. After that getting the lantern is optimal because of the ward, LS and passive. You can use your shield to move to a ward to initiate or escape.

Next move is boots Mercury Treads are important for both the MR and the debuff time reductions. This keeps LS from getting locked too hard which allows for reentry and escape by combining moves.

Following that Dmg and att speed are your next focuses, I chose the next items as a show for a game where DMG was most important. There are games where you might have to sacrifice Dmg for survivability.

Skill Sequence

Of all LS's abilities none stands out more than his shield. It can be cast on an ally or himself and he always gets the benefit, for jungling it can keep the damage taken to a minimum. For ganking it can be put on a minion or fellow champ. It can be used as an entry or as an escape since it has a dash feature. The secondarty ability of the shield gives both spell vamp and life steal, enabling LS to survive more difficult fights early. Using abilities also lets LS increase Att Spd and increase energy regen.

His next ability should be his skill shot as its great for taking out high health minions and harrasing and ganking champions. The secondary ability does extra dmg based on the enemies missing health which can do up to 400 dmg to minions but more to champions. The ability also moves LS right on top of his target allowing him to set up additional moves, get a gank or even dive a turret and then use the shield to get out.

The last move is important to get at level 4 due to the fact that it is an AOE, it reveals stealth, and most of all it has a slow component, which can easily leave an enemy champion without many options quickly.

Creeping / Jungling

The Jungle order is pretty simple and only lasts until you can hit level 3 or 1300 gold. First you get the 2 normal golems on your side of the jungle using smite while having your shield's second ability active will in fact heal you. Pop a pot just to be safe.

Next head over to your wolves for a quick heal, use your skill shot to help keep your hp up, by using it in conjunction with your shield.

After that hit the enemy golems and then go for the blue buff. At this point you're level 4 and you can gank or farm until you have the lantern then go for dragon.
