Nice guide overall. I may not agree with your item/rune page choice completely, but still very in-depth and deserves a thumbs up!

Other than that, I liked the main body itself, with its elo hell focus.

I don't think wasting your runes to improve the 1st 8 minutes of the game is smart. I think katarina is not NEARLY as weak as you think. Trouble last hitting? Fair enough. However, against a lot of matchups, she can basically freefarm with her auto attacks (morgana, anivia, malz, ken, ahri)

Remember, when you're weak, they're weak as well. I've secured lots of fb's in low elo with constant BB harass starting level 1. I think strength marks are HUGE MISTAKE and will cost you a lot of early damage. I can't recall your masteries, but why not take 2 points out of havok and put it in butcher, then?

I don't think MS quints are necessary in low elo. If you keep your shunpo up, you should be relatively safe in lane.

You're also forgetting that once katarina hits rank 9, she can basically 1-shot an entire wave. farming is not an issue for katarina anymore.

On to yoru items, gunblade is trash on katarina, replace it with deathfire grasp. Trust me, I've playtested the **** out of gunblade, and it's just poopy on her. Too expensive for not enough.
