What made me choose Katarina!

Well it started when i asked my vent buddies what champion i should buy this time.... a friend said i should try Gangplank, i thought too op (yes i know Kat is op but still), then my GM said i should buy Katarina... I thought hmm she sounds fun. So i farmed as much IP as possible and then bought Kat. the first few times i played her i was horrible then she got fun and i thought i wonder what a soulstealer would be like on her with all these kills. It turned out "OMF WTF IS THIS ****!." Then i just carried on with her from then on.

Item Buying

Well to start off you would want to buy her some boots b/c she is partially slow at start. Build them boots up it the the Boots of Mobility. These boots b/c this way u can travel faster to gank more. After that lead into that Mejai's Soulstealer b/c with this build should should get a ****TON of kills. And for her Spellvamp and Lifesteal get a Hextech revolver but wait for the Gunblade.. Get the Rylai's Crystal Scepter (mainly for the slow and the HP). After that this is when u should get the Full Gunblade for full pwnage. Use the active as a leading tool to slow them this way they won't get away from you, and u can Shunepo to them. After this grab a Rabadon's Deathcap, baisically b/c its it the Infinity Edge of the AP users MEANING-- Definite need for this item. For the final item you should get another Hextech Gunblade (not for the active ability either.)

Abilitie Description and usage!

Normally i would start my combat off with the Hextech Gunblade's slow. While they are slowed i Shunepo to them and then use Killer Instincts followed by a Bouncing blades to initiate Max damage to multiple targets. I then use deathlotus to finish the target off (This reason being Deathlotus is on such a small cooldown when a target is killed.) If the target does not die by deathlotus he will surely be low enuff for an Ignite to kill the target.
When facing a team with healers, use Killer Instincts and try to time well your Bouncing Blade in order to hit as many enemy champions as possible, hindering their healing capabilities.
Death Lotus also hits enemy champions which are stealthed. Furthermore, it becomes usable when a stealthed champion approaches Katarina, so keeping an eye on its icon may notify the player of incoming ganks.
Katarina is one of the few manaless champions, so abuse her spells heavily.
Katarina belongs on the battlefield as her Voracity rewards you extra gold for kills and assists. Try ganking more often than usual as a surprise Death Lotus can turn the tide quickly.

The Role of Katarina

Katarina's role in a game is simple - she's a ganker/finisher. She CAN carry for her team if she has a brilliant early game with a lot of kills and assists, but don't expect it every game.
More importantly, she CANNOT initiate for the team. You should never be the first person to engage the enemy team in a pitched 5v5 battle ala Malphite, your job instead is to sneak in unawares and quickly take out priority targets.

As the game progresses, you'll steadily gain more team presence as your ultimate increases dramatically in power, until eventually you'll be hitting as many as 3 enemies at once for tons of damage multiple times per battle.

Due to her fragile HP, Katarina should never be expected to tank for the team. Even so, you should expect to be targeted first in every battle due to how much of a nuisance you are. We will have to choose our items carefully so that we can survive the initial assault, as well as use Shunpo and Flash to back off if the heat gets too much.
