Added a second guide which shows recommended seals while using Ninja Tabi and Seals of Evasion and showing the masteries to compliment them.

I agree with you whole-heartedly on the Mejai's, I agree Mejai's can work I myself however have trouble holding stacks which is why I didn't include it at all. As for the Rylai's I know most like to rush it but I find it more beneficial to give my teammates that added AP boost and Spell Vamp from the aura as long as you know how to play it smart. Now I know some people don't and of course in that case I recommend the Rylai's. Which I've just addressed in the guide.

The boots I think are purely Summoner preference and somewhat situational so I just added that into the guide as well explaining when they might work and the best to choose based on certain circumstances.

The masteries are a little different, I know most people suggest you put 21 or 20 in defense but in all the games I've tried this I couldn't output enough damage to even make use of the added defense. As for taking crit over the AP in the Offense category I find the added 2% crit chance better then the 10 AP you would get at level 18.

I changed the runes section adding Seals of Evasion as the recommended and telling them possible runes to use instead.

Thank you for your input.

While I'm a big fan of someone who doesn't rush Mejai's like most Katarina builds out there - I still don't like your build. Building a Hextech Revolver is good early game, but you should rush something like Rylai's afterwards and not WotA.... You're far too squishy otherwise. You don't really need Sorc boots btw, something like Mercury or Ninja Tabi can help you surviving team fights, because unless you're fighting idiots.. You'll get focused.

Not a fan of your masteries at all. 10/20/0 is what I've found to be "the best" while playing Katarina. I don't even understand why you'd take crit chance > AP.. it makes no sense whatsoever.

Also, just because you don't have other runes availabile doesn't mean you should put them in the cheat sheet. You might actually fool someone new, who's fond of Katarina, into thinking you should buy those.

Why would you run Seals of Alacrity (attack speed) on a burst AP caster? There are many other options that are much better - Seals of Force/Potency, or even Seals of Resilience for early game dominance. In the first build you don't even finish Rylai's Crystal Scepter. Also, I wouldn't recommend getting Zhonya's Hourglass - you can't ult and hourglass at the same time. I would've put in a Banshee's Veil in there instead - one stun/silence/suppress and you're done; all your damage as been pretty much stopped instantly. Banshee's Veil provides a lot more survivability as well as the all-powerful CC-stopping bubble.

I'm glad to know you bothered to read my runes section where I explained that I posted the runes I currently have in my possession and since the only seals I have is Seals of Alacrity and Seals of Clarity I took Alacrity. Oh but you know I do love getting down-voted for other people's ignorance. As for the mistake in leaving Rylai's out, not sure how that warrants a down-vote as well but oh well. Guess you can do what you want.

Hmm... alright, I'll try switching out the Scepter and Void Staff for other items and see what I come up with, I'll adjust the build once I've come up with something that works. Thanks for the input :D

I would not recommending mixing Abyssal Scepter and Sorc boots and Void and runes, the Void reduces the effect of the boots and runes...and too much MPen nonetheless.
