Hello and welcome to my Kayle build. Kayle - The Winged Judicator
This is my first build/guide ever so suggestions are definitely welcome.
I would also like to put in that in MOST cases you will NOT get to build all of the items and I am aware of how expensive this build is. Although you may not have been fully built you will still crush everyone as Kayle - The Winged Judicator.
Firstly, i would like to talk about the Pro's and Con's of a AP/AS/AD Hybrid Kayle.
+ AMAZING Damage potential
+ Great AP scaling on 3 skills
+ Divine Blessing combined with Intervention and your AP will make you unstopable
+ Righteous Fury combined with AS and AP will make you a noticeable presence in team fights
+ Divine Blessing and Intervention will make your team LOVE you <3
- Heavy MP drain
- EXTREMELY Expensive build
- Makes the other team RAGE at you :P
Now for the item sequence.
First off you should start with the Amplifying Tome and a Health potion. The Amplifying Tome gives you a nice boost to AP and the Health potion is self explanatory, Heals <3. After you have enough money to buy yourself Sorcerer's Shoes you should recall back and purchase them. Some people may think that items like Berserkers Greaves or Boots of Swiftness are a better choice, well, that is completely up to you. I choose the Sorcerer's Shoes because most of the damage you do will be magic damage and so magic penetration is VERY important in my opinion. If the game is going in your favour and you arepicking up kills then you should build a Mejai's Soulstealer, however if you aren't doing too well then you should skip Mejai's and build a Guinsoo's Rageblade. Afterwards, depending on how you're going you can either choose to buy Mejai's Soulstealer and Sword of the Occult (I have listed Mejai's again because after the purchase of Guinsoo's your game may have improved) or you could go straight on to purchasing the Hextech Gunblade. Your final core item will be the Zhonya's Ring. This gives you a MASSIVE boost to AP an AD due to Kayle's passive.
The core item's for this build are:
Guinsoo's Rageblade - Hextech Gunblade - Zhonya's Ring + Boots of your choice
Some optional items are:
Rylai's Crystal Scepter - This item gives a nice boost to HP and AP and the slow is SPECTACULAR
Warmog's Armour - INCREDIBLE boost to HP and HP/5, Should only be bought if you're having trouble with your base health and are dying before you can put a dint in your opponents armour.
Bloodthirster - When fully stacked this item will give you the same amount of AD as the Sword of the Occult and the lifesteal is a nice bonus too. With your Righteous Fury you should be clearing minion waves VERY fast so stacking will be a breeze. Fully stacked this item will give you another 30 AP with your passive. Also your passive will give you approximately 25 AP for this.
Infinity Edge - What isn't there to like about 80 AD and 20% Critical Strike Chance?
Now for the abilities.
Kayle's Passive is Holy Fervor and the description is below.
"30% of Kayle's attack damage is added to her ability power and 15% of Kayle's ability power is added to her attack damage. "
This passive is what inspires us to play Kayle as a hybrid and makes her one of the best hybrid style characters in the game. This passive really makes the items in this build work. This passive complements Righteous Fury and makes Kayle a Killer.
Kayle's Q ability is Reckoning. The description is below.
Reckoning is a great ability to have, it deals damage to your target, slows them AND makes all your attacks against that target deal extra damage for a period of time. This ability has great AP scaling and combined with your E, Righteous Fury, will decimate your enemies.
The slow from this and the speed boost from your W. Divine Blessing, will make chasing and running all that much easier.
Kayle's W ability is Divine Blessing. The description is below.
In my opinion, Divine Blessing is not the skill that should be your number one priority. I choose to max it last because level one is enough to give you the speed boost and maxing this ability early will not give you a huge advantage, simply because the amount of AP you have early game is not that great.
However, this ability is insane in late game. In late game you SHOULD have a lot of AP and so this ability will be VERY nice to have, in team fights you can use it on your wounded allies or on yourself. In 1 v 1's Divine Blessing combined with Intervention will enable you to crush anyone and show them the power of Kayle - The Winged Judicator.
Kayle's E ability is Righteous Fury. The description is below.
Now, this is where the fun begins. Righteous Fury is an incredible skill. It increases Kayle's range and damage and also makes your attacks splash. Combine Righteous Fury with Reckoning and you're opponents will be crying. Righteous Fury will decimate minion waves and so it is a great pushing tool.
In late game you should be able to hit for about 500 damage with this skill. Most of your opponents will not expect something like this from Kayle.
Finally, Kayle's Ultimate is Intervention (CoD?.. Lame...). The description is below.
Firstly I HAVE to say that this is a situational ultimate and it doesn't hurt ANYONE. This ability is what allows you to kill most people in a 1 v 1. Combine the invulnerability from this with Divine Blessing and Voila! Your opponents do NO damage to you and you heal, all this while you're hacking away at the last bits of their health.
This ultimate, if used correctly, can be the difference between winning and loosing a team fight. Your enemies will hate you, your allies will love you <3. All in all, a good ultimate that can lend you a kill if someone overextends to kill you.
The Battle Plan, 1 - 2 - 3
Your typical battle plan should look like Reckoning -> Righteous Fury -> ATTACK!
During your battle if you happen to get low on health or one of your allies needs help just use Intervention or Divine Blessing and in the end all your enemies will end up dead or low on health. If someone does happen to live just use Divine Blessing on yourself for the speed boost and use Reckoning on the enemies.
Kayle is quite slow and vulnerable in the early game so you should play safe and try to last hit minions. You should use Righteous Fury to harass your enemy and last hit from afar to stay out of range of your enemies.
However, if your enemies are bad players or are careless then you can get aggressive and go for the kill.
By the time you reach mid game you should either have Mejai's Soulstealer and the Boots of your choice or Boots and the Rageblade. During mid game you should try to help your team whenever you can and make sure that you are present at team fights because your Intervention and Divine Blessing are an amazing asset.
During mid game you should have picked up a few kills and be well on your way to the next item.
Late game is when Kayle starts to shine, there will be lots of team battles and you are a crucial part of your team. If you are present your team will win most of the team fights and therefore the game. In late game your build should be coming to the Hextech Gunblade or Zhonya's Ring.
If the game is going well and your team is dominating it is all because of your help and input of your abilities. Well done, have fun.
This is all for my build/guide so far. Please remember that this is my first guide and so don't just -1 for no reason, please at least give me a reason for why this build is bad. All comments that will help me improve this build are welcome!
If there are any mistakes in my build with explanations or calculations then please feel free to comment and I will try to fix it up as soon as possible.
Also, If anyone could tell me how to put images for the items and abilities in it would be great.
Thank you for looking at my guide, Vicarious Vision.
