Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome to my back-door Yi guide. In this guide I will teach you what back-dooring is, when to do it and various other tips. This build will not give you a **** load of kills and let you slice up the entire enemy team but it will let you chop up turrets like it's nobody's business. Now people may call you a useless noob for dying after you attack or kill a turret and say your dumb for not getting 1000 kills. But ignore that and let them thank you when your team wins because all there inhibitors get sliced into pieces while their in a team fight. This build will focsues around mainly attack speed armor penetration and damage, because crit and lifesteal are useless against turrets.

Masteries

For masteries I use an offensive 21-0-9 getting AP per level cool-down reduction attack speed and armor pen, you might ask why I don't get the standard melee masteries for crit chance and crit damage, well because we are focusing on backdoor we don't need crit and AP helps with the damage you do to towers. In the defensive I get magic resist and armor to make towers do a little less damage to you.

Summoner Spells

The summoner spells I take are teleport and ghost. I take these because teleport helps you get around the map faster to back-door turrets and ghost helps you escape after chopping down a turret.

Items

The Items I take are a little different than a normal Yi build because they have barely any crit or lifesteal with the exception of starks and ghostblade.

First I get Beserker Greaves to give you extra attack speed, standard for all dps.

Second I get Youmoos GhostBlade this item is plain amazing for killing turrets because you just go up to a turret and pop your ult and ghostblade and boom you will kill the turret like there's no tomorrow.

Next I get guinsoo's, now you might think I'm crazy for this but it's really quite good. Right off the bat it gives you extra attack damage AND AP which both increase your attack damage on turrets. Then its passive with stack so fast when attacking a turret it will give you another wad of attack speed and AP.

Next I get Stark's this item offers great attack speed and an Aura to your whole team. It also gives you lifesteal making your 1v1 fights easy to win.

Next I get last whisper. Because of the remake its now great for this build, because we have enough attack speed and the damage and armor pen it gives is just invaluable against turrets.

After that I get warmogs if the game is lasting very long. Now once you get this item you will be able to solo turrets so easily it's not enough funny.

Runes

For Marks I take armor pen which increases your damage on turrets.
For Seals I take flat attack speed to help out your early game.
For Glyphs I take CDR to have your ult and wuju style up faster.
For Quints I take armor pen to go greatly with your armor pen marks.

Back Dooring!

All right, so if you don't know what back-dooring is; it's basically when you sneak around to their base and chop up one of their turrets while they are busy in a team fight or something else. Back-dooring is crucial to winning and can put you on top regardless of how much kills they have.
