Introduction
Alistar is not only king of the jungle, but also one of the strongest support characters in the game. His CC is unmatched by anyone, and can constantly set up kills for your teammates. He is a versatile character, and there are many ways to build him. In this guide, I will go over the main two ways I use him: support and jungle.
Pros / Cons
Support
Alistar is viable because of three things: his spammable heals, his unstoppable CC combo and his godly ability to tank with his ultimate. Your AD Carry will never die under your protection. The great thing about support Alistar is the fact that he is not merely a support. He can also be a main tank during team-fighting phase, and he can also single out the opposing team's carry for your team to jump on. He has a kit that is designed for multiple uses, which makes him such a strong pick.Jungle
The reason why everybody fears
Alistar jungle is due to one thing: his unstoppable ganks. Being able to gank at level 2, his W -> Q combo is just as strong at level 2 as it is any other level (besides the damage). His knock-back and knock-up makes each gank a near guaranteed kill.
