really good build must use

I have just started playing Kog, and I tend to suck at this game, so maybe I just don't get something. But if you ask me, rushing straight to Bloodrazor looks a bit weird. Yes, it is a great item and is a must, but it is also hella expensive and before you get it, you do like no damage at all, which in turn means no kills (unless you manage to steal a few). Having no kills = having no money. Having no money = late bloodrazor. And at the point I get it, guess what? It doesn't really matter, because it is not enough already. So my question is: wouldn't it be better to aim for something like boots -> sword of the divine -> phage first? I got a strong feeling that it is just me being a failtard, but still.

I've played Kog for a long time and in my opinion, seeing a late game AS Kog is FAR scarier than an AP Kog. Of course, you have to make it late enough into the game or be fed enough for it be effective. With the right team though, that's not a problem. Great build. Great way to play Kog.

I found that using nashor's tooth is really good in a long game as a final item sort of thing, reduces cooldowns and increases attack speed!

Excellent build. As a Kog lover, it's my preferred style over AP. Ridiculous amount of face rape, just need to position yourself well, cause Kog is still squishy.

i dont think anything has changed with kog last patch... maybe AP got stronger because of rabadons but i dunno... have to text AP again.
Its kind of a lategame built. get madreds early? getting malady and frozen will go quite fast beacause u own the **** out of most things. if u get beaten eraly and u take a long time for bloodrazor? u will fail soooo hard. You have to be greedy and succeed at it.
really hard to play. + a bit better on higher summoner lvls

BTW @Zuulkra: do you still test this build? what do you think about getting dorans blade at start for more eraly game survivability. + i'd take flat health quints not the per lvl ones

hey mann is this guild still good for him because everytime im going this build i seem to fail :( and when i go AP kog i seem to get insane score's with sniping his ulti....


is this build dead with the patch's that came or no ??

I love this build, so fun to play and so annoying to the other time :D

i really like ur build. I play kog maw like that and he totally rocks mid-lategame. my problem is that if ur team is not good or u have a bad play or sth like that, it can take a while till u reach bloodthirster. and without bloodthrister u really suck ^^
But im not that good of a player maybe thats just my problem. I just have the feeling its quite team depending. Got a lot of kills/assists early and able to get madreds quick? u totally rock and can get fast to malady and phage.
once i got a game long enough for the whole build...just wow

Quite a good build. I just went 29-3 on my second try. It really owns mid to late game. Once everybody gets ALL of their items, this build isn't quite as dominant. However, I can't really see much room for improvements. It would be quite nice to have some lifesteal or survivability items in there, but none really fit into the build nicely.
