Start with a Regrowth Pendant, i know it sounds dumb to do, but i rush a warmogs, it seems like a silly idea but with your runes to aide your damage, it is easy to deal a decent ammount of damage to your lane opponents, and staying alive is easy, especially againts a jax or yi. after that i build sorc boots, then a hat, i have never liked attack speed teemo, so i build a hat then void staff, then a lichbane, then a zhonyas for those of **** moments

Summary

Overall you harass with your Q, run up and poke them with it, it will start dealing significant dmg at ranks 3+, discouraging them from diving on you, mainly work on last hits and farming money for that god awful expensive warmogs so you can start your ap build. Shrooms, the bread and butter of lane-mo. i prefer to solo, when we have a jungler, so i tend to play top lane, i put a shroom at the entrance and exit of each bush, even the river bush, then i zigzag mushrooms all the way to baron, through the river. then as i find time, and shrooms i encroach into the enemy jungle, i use strategic points, such as corners people usually cut, like top side mid, between baron and mid bush, that ramp is always "corner-cut" and try to use typical escape routes, you can also build a rylai's into this build if you want some extra slow on your mushrooms, they will already do a significant amount of dmg, and if a fleeing enemy runs into a bush to back and you have a shroom waiting, sucks for them. practice makes perfect on the shroom placement, you can also play incredibly agressive with your health base being so high, and AD carries have to tough out your blind, that not only disables them but acts as a nuke aswell
