Brute Force
Improved Rally

Offense: 9

Strength of Spirit
Veteran's Scars

Defense: 21

Expanded Mind
Blink of an Eye
Mystical Vision
Presence of the Master

Utility: 0

Greetings, this is my first attempt at LeBlanc, the Deceiver. After playing a few games with her and doing some studding this is what i've come up with. I chose to go "9pts Offense & 21pts Defense" for I am an avid fan of Ardor, Strength of Spirit, and Tenacity. Plus Veteran's Scars really helps out early on.

I've noticed she has absolutely no problem killing, surviving the initial counter-attacks however, is a bit more tricky. When using a snowball item like; Mejai's Soulstealer, survival is key.

I will be adding more information as far as "how to" and "tips and tricks" in the near future, but for now please feel free to leave comments/suggestions. Thanks!

Please note, I added an Optional Item List of items I feel are good on LaBlanc. I realize everyone's play-style varies a bit, some might prefer being more of a glass canon, while others prefer the tankier side of life. Feel free to swap an item out here and there.

Key Points

Ability Power: 700+ (With Elixir of Brilliance, Ardor, & Zhonya's Ring)
Magic Penetration: 15%
Cooldown Reduction: 40% (With Elixir of Brilliance)
Damage Reduction: 40% (With Tenacity)

Summoner Spells

I decided to go with enhanced Exhaust as my first summoner spell. With all the mobility she has, being able to reduce their armor, magic resistance, and their movement speed really seems like a great tool to add to her arsenal. With Exhaust, no one get's away. Another huge plus is the blind for 3 seconds, in a 1vs1, this really comes in handy, especially against AD carries, while your waiting for your cooldowns to pop,

For my second summoner spell I chose Flash, what better way to add even more chaos, more confusion, and more utility to this build. I truly love how mobile she really is. Your enemies won't know whats going on! =)

(Innate): When LeBlanc is brought below 40% health, she instantly becomes stealthed for half a second. When the stealth fades, she creates a Mirror Image that deals no damage and lasts for up to 8 seconds. This can only occur once per minute. It appears with the same life as LeBlanc had when it triggered.

Her passive ability really is something unique. Combined with items like Boots of Mobility, her passive provides the perfect escape. As soon as you drop below 40% you vanish, creating a clone, thus giving you a chance to get away. It also removes you from combat making Boots of Mobility actually useful. (Movement 5)

(Active): LeBlanc projects an orb towards her target, dealing magic damage and marking the target for 3.5 seconds. If the target takes damage from one of Leblanc's abilities, the mark will trigger, dealing damage and silencing the target for 2 seconds.
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Range: 700
Cost: 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90 Mana
Initial Magic Damage: 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+0.6 per Ability Power)
Secondary Magic Damage: 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 (+0.3 per Ability Power)

This should be your primary offensive ability. The trick here is to combine it with your other spells to silence your opponent. If done correctly you can blink in, nuke, ultimate (re-nuke), and blink out. Boom your opponent just took a huge amount of damage within 3 seconds and your already on your way out.

(Active): LeBlanc rapidly moves to a target location, dealing magic damage to nearby units. In the following 3 seconds, she can activate Distortion again to return to her starting location.
Area of Effect:
Cooldown: 20 / 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 seconds
Cost: 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 / 120 Mana
Magic Damage: 85 / 125 / 165 / 205 / 245 (+0.6 per Ability Power)

This ability is one of those all in one types of abilities. It provides "Area Effect Damage" great for farming, a great escape tool, a great catch your opponent tool, and a whole lot of damage! When combined with your Ultimate & Flash, your opponents won't have a clue whats going on!

(Active): LeBlanc flings illusionary chains towards a target location. If it hits an enemy unit, it will deal initial magic damage and slow their movement speed by 25%. If the target remains shackled for 2 seconds, the target takes additional magic damage and is unable to move for few seconds.
Cost: 80 Mana
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Range: 950
Initial Magic Damage: 40 / 65 / 90 / 115 / 140 (+0.4 per Ability Power)
Delayed Magic Damage: 40 / 65 / 90 / 115 / 140 (0.4 per Ability Power)
Snare: 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 seconds

This is a great "skill shot" type ability that initially does some damage and slows your target, however, can then snare them. You really are the perfect assassin with an ability like this one.

(Active): LeBlanc can cast the previous spell she cast. The mimicked spell deals significantly increased damage.
Cooldown: 40 seconds
Cost: 100 / 50 / 0 Mana
Damage Increase: 10 / 25 / 40%

There are endless counts of ways to use her Ultimate. Each situation can provide a different use. You can double up your nuke for a massive nuke, you can double up your blink for double blink and double AOE damage, or you can double up your chains to seriously snare your opponent. Or you can just make up your own combos to win every situation! =)

Optional Items

Core Build

Item Breakdown

+20 Ability Power
+160 Additional Ability Power

Total: 180 (Possible) Ability Power
UNIQUE: Your champion gains 8 ability power per stack, receiving 2 stacks for a kill or 1 stack for an assist. This effect can stack 20 times; you lose a third of your stacks if you die. At 20 stacks, your champion's cooldowns are reduced by 15%.
(Gold Cost: 1235)
Mejai's Soulstealer is truly one of the best items for LeBlanc. With her ability to gank early on, she will be able to farm stacks before anyone has a clue whats going on. By the time it's too late you will be peaking around 20 stacks and be a lethal hunter. Do not pass up this item! If you notice your struggling to maintain stacks due to your opponents singling you out each fight, swap this item out for a Banshee's Veil, this should help alleviate the problem and get you back on the scoreboards!

Enhanced Movement 2.
UNIQUE: When out of combat for 5 seconds the effect of these boots is increased to Enhanced Movement 5.
(Gold Cost: 1000)
Now typically most people like to get Sorcerer's Shoes with LeBlanc, and I don't disagree that is normally the best choice here, however, with how much mobility and deception she has, she really can make good use of the Boots of Mobility, granting her an untouchable amount of movement after Flashing, or using Distortion. Not to mention when her Passive ability kicks in, it stealths you, removing you from combat, thus initiating Boots of Mobility's passive.

+500 Health
+80 Ability Power
PASSIVE: Your spell damage slows the target's movement speed by 35% for 1.5 seconds (15% for multi-target spells).
(Gold Cost: 3105)
After those two items I like to rush Rylai's Crystal Scepter for it's amazing amount of health, ability power, and it's innate ability to slow your targets after each ability is cast on them. Seriously, how is this not on her recommended item list? It really does make her Sigil of Silence / Distortion combo much easier to land.

+60 Ability Power
+10 Mana Regen/5 sec.

UNIQUE: 15% Cooldown Reduction
UNIQUE: Deals magic damage to target champion equal to 30% of their current health (+3.5% per 100 Ability Power) with a minimum of 200 damage. 1 minute cooldown.
(Gold Cost: 2610)
After experimenting with Archangel's Staff I decided cooldown reduction is actually more important. Not to mention adding an extra nuke doesn't hurt, but hey who's counting. Anyhow, this item is great, its inexpensive, comes in two parts, one you get early, and the other after Rylai's Crystal Scepter, all in all it will boost you to 40% cooldown reduction very easily! Enjoy.

+120 Ability Power
UNIQUE: Increases AP by 25%.
UNIQUE: Places your champion into Stasis for 2 seconds, rendering you invulnerable and untargetable but unable to take any actions. 90 sec cooldown.
(Gold Cost: 3460)
The Zhonya's Ring is absolutely amazing on any caster, especially LeBlanc. It provides an insane amount of Ability Power, and provides the ability to go Invulnerable. This feature is amazing, after flashing in, and dishing out a ton of damage, your foes will definitely look to strike you down, however after going Invulnerable it provides necessary time for them to redirect and give you time to get away etc.

+350 Mana
+80 Ability Power
+30 Magic Resistance
+7% Movement Speed

UNIQUE: When you use an ability, your next physical attack deals an additional 100% of your Ability Power in damage. This effect has a 2 second cooldown.
[/color](Gold Cost: 3470)
The Lich Bane is the best way to finish this build. No other item compliments her the same way. Just be reading the description above you should be starting to see a picture form. You blink in, dish out a ton of damage, and then auto attack for 600-800 dmg, how on earth could you possibly pass this up? After trying her you should know that her 3 hit combo is nasty, but she ends up having to auto attack occasionally to get the final blow. Oh plus this makes pushing towers soo much easier. Please do not pass this, or Sheen up!
