Introduction

Lee Sin. Everybody knows those cool Montages with Lee Sin where he jumps to everything and kills everyone, and maybe someday you might be skilled enough to do that too, this guide will show you how to play him.

Runes

Seals: You need those armor runes, otherwise the jungle is going to destroy you and the laners too. easy choice. Scaling is not good because you need much armor early and cant afford having less.

Marks: You could go for Armor Penetration here but i feel quite good with AD since Lee scales well enough early with AD, it's your choice.

Glyphs: Since you mostly dont need MR early game you can take scaling glyphs lategame those will be pretty useful.

Quints: And AD Quints because early you want to put out your max damage.

Masteries

I like my Lee more offensive since he needs to put on that early pressure. With more aggressive masteries your damage output will be better.
You could go 9/21 if you want but it really depends if you build lee more tanky or more aggressive.

Items

Items is a complicated thing on Lee. You Can build nearly everything. For trolling purposes you could even build Zhonyas Hourglass.

Well early I want him to be hurting much so i go with brutalizer. As a jungler beeing taking is kind of a rule and you just need it. So an early Warmogs cant hurt. You are going to soak up much dmg with that Warmogs so somce armor penetration with LW is pretty strong. BT and Cleaver will max your damage and to finish the build sell wriggles for a Randuins.

If you dont like mobility boots go with Tenacity boots since you need to be mobile and the MR can soak up some good dmg.

If you really need MR get yourself a Hexdrinker and the item it builds into.

Counterjungling

Lee is one of the strongest Counterjunglers and you want to play like that. You always want to check buffs of the enemy and maybe have a timer for it.
But remeber to have an escape-plan, maybe with a ward-wall-jump or to an ally.
DON'T COUNTERJUNGLE IF YOU HAVE NO ESCAPE.
Simple rule.

Pros / Cons

Pros:

- super high Mobility
- shield to save your allies
- dispositioning with R
- Slow / AttackSpeed Reduction
- very strong early game
- rewarding if played well

Cons:

- Damage falls off lategame
- hard to play and master
- can be frustrating

Creeping / Jungling

When jungling always make sure you proc your passive right. You wanna shield yourself as much as possible to soak up damage plus heal yourself with 5% lifesteal.

Start with E for the AOE and tap it again after 2 Autohits for the passive. Continue that in the jungle.

Early Game

You look for the action early, since you are probably one of the strongest early. If it is 2vs2 Top because of a countergank dont be afraid fight them and win. But make sure to focus 1 target, most likely the squisher one, which is often the jungler.
Don't risk your Buffs because a laner with double buff can hurt your teammates pretty much

Team Work

When Fighting always make sure to shield an ally to get closer to them or maybe to safe him.
Cover lanes for your team, it gives you massive XP and Farm and gives your lane a chance to back.

Early teamfights:
In Teamfights early you want to assassinate the enemy with the highest damage. Dont get trapped in stuns. Use your mobility and come out safe.

Lategame teamfights:
You wont deal the most damage since then, you need to proctect the one dealing it.
Use your Kick(R) to kick everything away from your carry if they can kill your carry.
If you survive you can easily pick off solo enemys that are low because your mobility is to damn high! (Pun intended)

Combos

You might have see some cool Lee Combos here are the basics:

Ward Jump:
"Place Ward" -> W

It can be useful to escape, setup a gank or steal baron,drake

Kick Jump
Q -> R -> Q

Does much Damage because your second Q does percentage HP, and it looks totally manly.

Ward Kick
QQ -> "Place Ward" -> W -> R into your Team

Looks totally pro-like, and can kick an carry in your team to win the fight.

The Gap Closer
W -> QQ -> EE

You jump to an ally to close the gap and then Q to the enemy to slow him with E
