Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Not fluent in English so it will N short. This template is not for middle lane.
Some rules :
1. always stay behind your mates, whoever he is.
2. always hide in bushes.
3. use flash wisely, its the only way to survive ; if you want to kill after flashing, ensure the kill.
The runes and the mastery tree are quite usual for casters so I wont spend time on it : quite weak ( low life, no armor or MR bonus ! )
Now I explain the items : my way with this mixed up item build is to maximise the amount damage on each hit after casting a spell on a target. I explain
Casting (e) spell = triggers Lux's passive. Hit = triggers malady ( dmg + MR malus ) cast (a) spell ( locked ) = triggers Lux's passive. Hit = triggers malady ... So at lvl 2 you can kill any non tank opponent with 3 more hits.
And it gets more and more powerfull with sheen and lich bane.
Your ulti is not really powerfull until you got mejai full ( can happen really quickly whith assists and some KS if you're premade with nice friends :p ) But at least it avoids some "lucky escape" I really hate. Once mejai's full, I think the character's enough cheated to cast it as mush as you can !!
As I lack vocabulary hard to explain my item choice, so I try :
the A-Tome ensure you with your (e) spell to farm sbires at the beginning at a med/long range without taking too much risks. Heal pot is out of any discussion. Malady will allow you to kill opponents very quickly, if your mate makes any harras OR stall ( stun, slow ... ) kills will be quite easy. But remember, never chase if the kill is not sure. I advice not to go under towers, any hit of the tower makes you a deadman walking.
Manamune is here mid game to keep usefull in Teamfights later. If spells are casted wisely, and with clarity, no need to buy it in early game.
Mejai's obviously here to have some ranged dmg if you cant come closer to your targets ( Ezreal can be annoying as such as galio, shen, rammus, avoid to get too close to those last 2 whatever the cost !! ). Some KS mayB needed if lacks of skill while casting (a) spell, for the greater good ...
We should B in mid game now = manamune. Tf will be more harrassing and longer so you need more mana tha clarity can provide. As you are mid caster/range atk, the atk bonus is more than welcome while opponents have now life and/or armor.
Finally, depending on the opponent team I advice : HextechGunblade or rylai's.
Rylais when you are against either fat DPS ( yi, jax, udyr ... ) or runners ( akali, shen, Ez ... )
HextechGunblade is good against harassers ( like galio, heimer and any long range characters, either casters or AD, fear Miss F and tristana ! You'll have to be skilled to kill them while they just have 2 clicks/kills champ ... )
