Introduction

Lux is a glass cannon that can support her team with slows and stuns. In reality she does a decent amount of damage you only have to focus on her spells with her passive. This guide is short and to the point.

Items + Strategies + Farming

The reason I didn't talk about Masteries/Runes is because they are pretty self explanatory, Lux is squishy so why not the extra hp? + The mana problem is easily fixed by runes.

- The reason you would get a Meki Pendent early game is because of how much she needs the extra mana regen. I usually get this because the health pots are temporary and are in my opinion better than the extra hp that Doran items give you + quite a bit cheaper.

Once Lux has Tear of the Goddess there will be many less mana problems. Using spells will cause Tear of the Goddess to gain more mana for the champion + the fact that it has mana regen is very helpful. After this item try to get tier 1 boots. Usually if you are playing vs. a mid that is able to burst you easily with spells that you could dodge; then get boots after your meki pendent so that you have better chances at dodging the enemy spells

Sheen is the bread and butter of the early game. Lux's passive is incredibly powerful. If you think Lux doesn't do any damage you are so wrong. Lux using her passive correctly can do a good chunk of damage. Once Lux has sheen it pretty much stacks with her passive. Her Passive does 10 damage by itself + 10 damage/level. This means at level 18 Lux will do 190 damage extra with a physical attack after having hit an enemy with a spell. It is best to land your Light Binding first then hit with one physical attack before casting your Lucent Singularity. Once they are out of the stun you can detonate your Lucent Singularity and hit them again with another physical attack. This will cause the most damage with sheen on the side. Eventually this will be the same skill usage for when you have Lich Bane. Sheen at this point will be your main item to have and learn to use until you have enough money to get a Needlessly Large Rod.

At this point with a Needlessly Large Rod under your belt you can easily farm the back minion wave with your Lucent Singularity and a few physical attacks. Just make sure you are focusing on farm. Farm is VERY VERY important for lux. Even though you may think you can get a kill on an enemy champion that may not necessarily happen. In these cases getting as many minion kills as possible can give you an edge. Once you've got Sheen you can start harassing the enemy champion more often because you should have the mana + the damage output should be good enough to do enough damage.

At this point the rest of the build should make complete sense. Rabadon's Deathcap gives a lot of extra AP. Lich Bane for the extra damage stacking onto her Passive. Void Staff for the magic penetration that is needed to counter Magic Resist or to just do more damage in general. Zhonya's is pretty self explanatory, you are squishy USE it if you are being focused in a teamfight. Last but not least is Archangels Staff, more mana regen, more AP, more damage. Everything you could possibly need is in this build.

Please comment below with any ideas you may have for the build. Just something I cooked up quickly that seemed to work a good portion of the time depending on who I played against in mid.
