Leona at early game equals the carry feeder for your team and the carry Shut down for their team, this entails that you should always be on them making them back to base or getting them low enough for a kill.

For runes I like to go All Flat health marks, all flat magic resist glyphs, all dodge seals to go with the dodge masteries and flat health quints. I find this to be a very effective rune page for when I play Leona but of course u can change as u see fit.

I like to go a 0/21/9 mastery page making sure to get greed for increased profit and dodge to help synergize with the dodge runes. plz realize this is a tank only build for Leona so i get all the essentials for her.

For my items they are a general thing that i usually get but I change somethings around depending on the other team like for example i might take our frozen mallet for Thornmail is they have a heavy hitting AD carry like Vayne or Master Yi.

I don't know about you guys but i always like to start out with my Q at level 1 grabbing E at level 2 and getting W at level 3 and then going back and forth leveling Q and W while getting Ulti when ever possible.

To summarize you have to Initiate every battle because of your CC and because of your passive which lets your teammates deal extra magic damage after u have marked the enemy with any of your abilities. Your the tank soak up the damage Initiate and your team should win every fight. So get out there summoner and win!
