Introduction

Malzahar has a lot of damage over time skills. He can deal extremely heavy damage to single targets. Upgrade Malefic Visions first, it's very good for farming minions as it bounces from one enemy target to the next after the target expires. Call of the Void silences enemies that it hits. Try catching enemies with Call of the Void based on there direction of movement. Null Zone marks a circular area on the ground dealing damage to each target that stands on it based on their maximum health. Nether Grasp can deal a ton of damage and it stuns the enemy. Before channeling, I like to cast Malefic Visions and Ignite to make sure my damage output is strong enough to finish off my enemy targets. Malzahar's passive, Summon Voidling summons a pet every few spell cast and fights for him. The Voidling grows stronger over time and then expires.
