Hi guys =), I've been perfecting this build since I've been level 1 and have found that variations of it have worked very well for me, so here it is! Basically this is a master Yi that has a stronger than average early game (because of the 14 AP and 130 HP provided by runes), an explosive middle game, and a solid late game. (contrary to most Yi's who can't really do anything late in the game). Since you have AP and HP right off the bat, you don't ave to worry about buying Doran's ring of anything like that with your first 475 gold, you can settle on boots and be able to attack early, without worrying much about being caught by other players on the run.
As for my choice of items, i'd suggest you buy the bloodrazors first. Why, you ask? Because it is a great Yi item, offering damage and speed, and it is possible to work on from level 1 since many of the items building up to the bloodrazors are cheap. While other builds may look flashy with the 300 attack damage and 200% attack speed, they simply aren't realistic. there is no way you can buy all the greatest items, because they require saving up for, in other words, time spent fighting without a decent weapon. The bloodrazors and Ghostblade are great items to start out with because you can buy them piece by piece as you get gold, meaning almost the instant you get a fair amount of gold, you can spend it and gain an edge over your opponents.
I filled out the mastery tree because it was there, not because it matters much, cause it doesn't. Honestly, you won't gain any more kills by making a mastery tree right, they offer so little perks i wouldn't waste my time thinking too hard about how to build the perfect mastery tree.

Pros: good early game
..... Great middle game
..... Solid end game
..... Yi isn't overly squishy

cons: you'll need ALOT of kills to buy every item listed
..... little/no armor or magic resist
