People playing Morde for the first time are gonna look to the top for guidance as to how to play Morde. It's rough to get up there. It's up to the community who gets to be there. And it's usually because a majority of them believe the build is worthy.
Time will only tell. Besides, Morde's getting a revamp shortly from Riot. Maybe you'll have a great build for his new playstyle. Who knows?
I have seeing many guys with cdr builds(yes level 30) ,yes u wasnt the man who create "CDR MORDEKAISER" so if my build was like the others,i dont care i just give my opinion,my gameplay, and my meaning of Mordekaiser.
I know u will answer this reply, but if u want to reply ,say something interresting instead of trying to teach something to someone.
Im tired of hearing the same.
Thanks.
(THIS BUILD IS FOR NEW PLAYERS DONT FORGET PEOPLE)
Hi Rawbbeh.
I have reading the whole text u wrote, and im pretty sure that u have reason in some points.
Yes I do.
Figured you meant one thing and said another. Glad it was caught early to avoid confusion. :-)
Funny, cause when I started tinkering around with CDR and kinda figuring out how it does so well for Morde, I read most every Morde build on this site and didn't see a single build that focused heavily on CDR. However thumb through the builds and see how many of them use: Warmog's, Sunfire Capes, Force of Nature, and a Frozen Mallet and you'll see how every build looks just like the one next to it on the bottom half of the builds ranked by score. There's a reason why they are down there. No offense, but while it makes him beefy and hard to kill...there's better combinations out there.
With my build. I think ganker, and tank comes naturally...and it does awesome.
Ty for advices.
Sadly this part is what depresses me the most. I understand you like to play how you like to play. But the part that pains me is that regardless of what anyone says, you will be at an impasse with them. The unwillingness to change can hinder you in the long run.
Also, just out of curiosity. What summoner level are you?
Hi Rawbbeh.
I have reading the whole text u wrote, and im pretty sure that u have reason in some points.
First point "Smite is good to get kills ,when enemies are with low health" Its a error i commited,i wanted to write ignite ,but i wrote smite so thats not a problem , ofc the combination of Ignite and Ulti is the best for Morde.
Second,I know that my build is usual, but cdr builds are usual too(im not offending you) and this build besides being my FIRST build ,i think that can helps new players with morde ,in a more easy way than the cdr build.
when i am playing with morde im thinking in been a tank not a "ganker" so , i keep geetting good scores with that and at endgame i only have 3/4 items, and i keep owning, just need to focus and get opportunities besides trying to gank.First your teammates and after the enemies dont forget.
Its my way of playing morde, and i dont will change.
Ty for advices.
Thanks
First:
Are you referring to "enemies" here as minions/neutral mobs? Or are you talking about enemy players here? If the latter...Smite is not usable on enemy champions. If talking about neutral mobs/minions...Morde does a pretty good job wiping them out and I believe this summons spell is completely wasted on Morde. Why not Ignite? Ignite + CoTG = Pretty much ensured death (and a ghost pet) if someone makes a break for it and tries to run.
If CDR is so important on Morde as you make it sound (which is true. not debating that) then why don't you take any more CDR than the 6% you get from Runes + the 3% you get from masteries (total of almost 9%) Take a look at my build. See what happens when you cap CDR. 40% CDR (which is the cap) effectively means 40% more DPS..which means more you are more killy, filling shields faster/better (which means less downtime for your green health bar to take hits and ultimately more "HP" because you're adding to your shield bar much more often) In otherwords. Capped CDR is pretty much GODMODE for Morde. Especially since the 2 big CDR items I recommend give Morde 3 types of CC that really help him since he has none naturally.
Overall as far as your items go. Again, no offense. Your build is very common to the other 90% of Morde builds that hover around 50% score. It looks like you're using Morde as a vessel to carry around a GA and a Sunfire Cape instead of building him with items that strengthen what Morde already has/does. (like what CDR does for him) Warmog's IMO is a huge waste of Gold on Morde. It gives you HP and HP5. That's it. No armor no anything. You haven't done anything to help his DPS...or to give a steroid shot to his shields. Basically...instead of playing his passive..youre just neglecting that and giving him more HP which is what his passive does. With CDR..youre killing 2 birds with one stone. Looks to me like you're bringing out everything you can...while spending a lot of gold that can be spent much better elsewhere.
Why Frost Mallet? Have you tried Rylai's Crystal Scepter? AP adds some to his DPS..and the slow from the item is applied to all of his abilities. Pretty OP if you ask me.
Lastly. And this is aside from the actual build. I know you mentioned that you were sorry for the poor English. As I do not know if English is a second language to you, but since you are writing a build and trying to "sell" your build to people who view this page...Trying your best to have complete/literate sentences, punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc are vital to making your build look good to the passersby. Adding in more description about why you take certain items over others and even recommending alternates is also a plus. While length to your build can be bad if you blab on and on...it can also be good because you can provide a lot of useful information. As well as answering questions before people ask them...basically covering the basics and then some.
I haven't voted yet on your build. I am interested in seeing what you have to say. Honestly, I think you have a ways to go...the items in your build are very common items with the majority of Morde builds on this site...and I am yet to see one like it reach a high if not decent score with good feedback posted from users who visit. Hopefully I can see a response to my post in the coming day or two. I am interested in hearing your response and insights.
Thanks,
Rawbbeh.
