First of all, I have to thank Dewo who was my master to make this build. I have all my respect to this player and he has done to the community.
Second, I have to mea culpa for my bad English, if Mobafire will start a French version of his site I will make a really better guide.
This build is focused on the Twisted Treeline Map. 3 vs 3 is awesome and make Master Yi even better. The only two things to watch is blinding/poison champ (as Teemo and Singed) and the stunner like Blitzcrank, Jax, etc. because after you make the 2 or 3 kill you will be the target all the time. After this warning, here the fun, Master Yi is really good in 3 vs 3 because he can switch lane very quickly to permit over number attacking champ and come back to the lane before the turret was attacked. And do not forget if you have to be killing, kill at least 1 champ or even more, or give the kill to a turret or a minion (because if it isnt a champ who kill you, no one will get the reward)
Master Yi is a real pain to enemies because he can deal a great amount of damage in short period of time. He is good to kill in early game, to push farm in mid game and carry the team at the end of the game. If it well played, Master Yi can chase mostly anybody or leaving so quickly to escape from a surely death.
Double Strike (Passive) - Master Yi strikes twice every 7th attack.
After the sixth hit, try to make it count! Attack a champ directly with Wuju Style activated or use alpha strike to double damage the leap strike. This passive is really important at the start of the game until the mid, because after you hit hard all the time!
Alpha Strike – Master Yi leaps across the battlefield with blinding speed, dealing magic damage to multiple units in his path with a chance to deal bonus magic damage to minions.
In this guide, this is the initiate skill, not because is the best one but because he can make the “First Blood”. If you try to gank at start, what I should suggest is to be the finisher give some hit and when a champ leave the battle chase him with alpha strike.
Important thing to know if a champion Exhaust you, the best thing to do is use alpha strike because it make magic damage, so bypass the exhaust effect, and you spending time with the enemies cannot hit you, sometime it’s the difference between dying or making the kill with 10hp left.
Meditate – Master Yi rejuvinates his body by focus of mind, restoring health and increasing his armor and magic resistance for a short time.
In 3 vs 3, at my opinion, it’s only useful against great harasser like Olaf, Kennen or Urgot. If I play against 3 tanker/pusher, I will take 1 or 2 skill of meditate before level 6 to stay longer on the lane when they are pushing. But do not forget that if you use medidate you will empty your mana pool easily and make you even squisher. I prefer life steal with vampiric scepter than this skill.
Wuju Style - Master Yi becomes skilled in the art of Wuju, passively increasing the power of his physical attacks. Activating Wuju Style doubles the passive bonus damage for a short time, but the passive bonus is temporarily removed after the effect wears off.
This is an important skill because it make you stronger permanently (passive) and the can make you just enough stronger to kill somebody (active). Always remember that this build is for 3 vs 3 and stay in a lane with less than 20 hp will be appearing frequently.
Highlander - Master Yi moves with unparalleled agility, temporarily increasing Master Yi's movement and attack speeds as well as making him immune to all slowing effects. Additionally, killing a Champion refreshes all of Master Yi's cooldowns.
Your Ultimate and the “bread and butter” skill of this champion. This is why you are a natural born killer and doing triple kill with a hand in your back. Most of the time, you will use it to chase fleeing enemies, but it can be good to chase than to flee yourself from already lose combat. If you flee no slow ability will affect you (if you see info "Cannot be slowed" appearing above you, you just being saved by this skill!)
Another great thing. If you chase and kill with highlander activated all your cooldowns is reset to 0 so it’s time to multi-kill ! After the first one the thing to watch is when your buff will stop, and just after reuse it. Trust me well played you can play 1 vs 3, kill them all, staying alive and pushing the lane. One more thing if you make 1 or 2 ace like that in a game can make appear “Rage Quit”, this is one of your enemies after killing for the third time without be able to make anything, quit the game before ending. This is the best trophy you can have !
Strategy with Skill
Here some of the basics of playing Master Yi:
Situation 1 : you see a champ alone mostly far a turret and you :
Alpha Strike on the hero -> Enable Wuju Style -> hit, hit and hit again -> dead - reward!
Alpha Strike on a hero -> Enable Wuju Style -> hit, hit, oh wait is fleeing! -> Enable Highlander -> hit, hit and hit again -> dead – reward plus reset cooldown !
Situation 2 : you see a champ and pass near you :
hit, hit -> Enable Wuju Style -> hit harder, hit and hit again -> Enable Highlander if needed -> dead - reward!
Situation 3 : you see a bunch of champs and you can go behind them :
Wait they push the tower and all their minion is mostly gone, find the squisher and hit it first,
-> Enable Wuju Style -> Enable Highlander if needed -> hit, hit, hit, dead – reset cooldown, Enable Again Highlander, hit, hit, hit, kill #2 – reset cooldown, chase the last one and kill him too before he leaving – get the reward and pass to a pro !
In worst cases:
You are too low to survive or the champ calling his friends -> Enable Highlander and leaving the party… “I'll be back”

Keep it simple, if your critical damage make more damage, you gain more healing (with Item) if you can augment you critical chance with item you will make more damage mostly all the time. And don’t forget that critical damage can make fleeing enemies because you look like stronger so you can stay in the lane and farming further.
The first thing to own is the Vampiric scepter. Why ? Because it’s give you more health to farm, more health to stay in the lane, more health to defend the turret, but to be useful you need to hit. So, if you are the guy to stay in the bush and wait to gank, this is a bad idea because you will be hit more than you his so you will die quickly like a noob…
Second, you need to run faster, initially, I choose the Berserker's Greaves but now I considering Ninja Tabi a really better item, because dodging at early game can let you live enough to kill and if it’s a “good” hit that you dodge it’s so satisfying, also if you follow my masteries you will get a bonus speed after the dodge that can make the difference to chasing an enemy.
After this, what you need is to augment the chance of your critical hit, so focus on that item before when making the Phantom Dancer.
If you get the Phantom Dancer, begin the Infinity Edge, with the cape at start, after this, you will make 1 critical hit every 2 hits, guaranty.
After focus to terminate the Vampiric Scepter (with BloodThirster or Stark Fervor) and get another Vampiric Scepter, this will provide to attack by the front door without losing any health.
At the end, if it’s not terminated, get the Guadian Armor to provide you long life and properity…
Lux, Taric, Sion, Amumu , Xin for disabling and juggling
Nasus, Olaf and especially Nunu for slowing, with a good Nunu, you let them make is ulti and kill anybody else who survive…
Singed, Blitzcrank to stop the champ leaving the battle.
Enemy to watch
Teemo, Heimerdinger because he blind you mostly all the time…
Ryze, Shaco, Twich, Taric because he stuns you and kill you before you can leaving…
