Ok guys this guide is my favorite, personally i think its the best build i've used for master yi, i've tested many other people's top rated builds and none of them were as good as this one so hope you like it and hope you use this build well.Also,please like this build because i would really like this to be in the top master yi build so yea. This is my first build so if the description sucks, i'm really sorry and will try my best next time.

In this guide, you will learn how to use master yi like a pro, if your facing 2 ranges on a side lane, use alpha strike to deal small damage, also use alpha strike to appear next to them and use your passive ability to double strike them. This is usually only useful in the beginning as in the end, you can just kill them. Remember to use your e skill so that your attack bonus damage is doubled when you do hit them, then quickly run away.

The runes that you should use are the ones that give you both attack damage, attack speed, and critical strike, you can change them around if you want but get the max of all 3 but you should never change the greater quintessence of might. That greatly increased attack damage. If you want, u can get all your runes to attack damage and this would help you get a lot of kills in the beginning, which is the most important part of the game.

The masteries also give you armor penetration which would help in the game. As you can see so far, the beginning is where master yi needs to excel at because without kills in the end, he would die in a second. With armor penetration and the masteries to help your summoner spells effects, you can get even more kills.

The items give you close to cap attack speed and with your ultimate, u do have max attack speed. It also gives you lots of damage and if you want to take out beserkers greaves, you can because phantom dancers give u the speed needed. This kills some regular attack speed but with your ultimate, you still have cap attack speed and you can get another item of your choice, i usually go with another bloodthirster because it gives me life steal and attack damage. For skills, you want to get max damage and self healing first, but you also need alpha strike for chasing down enemies and usually, your going to face a range so alpha strike is a good starting skill. Also, you won't want dorans shield first so alpha strike is a good thing because it allows you to deal damage without getting hit by the enemy. After max damage, you get healing so that after a team fight or in the middle of a team fight, u can back out, heal, and go back in dealing even more massive damage. With max healing, you heal 700 health so its like having 700 more health. Also, healing in a 1v1 fight is a good idea if they can't deal damage to you fast enough, this way, your teammates can come to the rescue or you can kill the enemy with even more health, protecting you a little more in case of the enemy team coming to help kill you.

Master Yi is a close range fighter and that means that both ignite and exhaust would help him in a 1 on 1 or team fight/gank. Both help get kills and exhaust also helps with running away just in case you don't have your ultimate. Also, it helps you and your teammate get kills on a side lane when they have low health but the tower is near, same with ignite, both help in early and late cases and ignite also helps in a 1 on 1 fight because if you do die, you can also bring them with you.

Your a melee fighting so boots help you chase down an enemy in the beginning as most people go with dorans items because it gives them help and something extra to help them. The potions are for healing and mana obviously. You want beserkers greaves first because its cheap, it gives you attack speed, and more movement speed still than the others. Then you get a zeal for starting off your phantom dancer. It gives you attack speed, movement speed, and critical strike, its a very good item and the vamparic scepter comboes with it because your lifesteal is literally increased through attack speed and critical strike so that will keep you alive more and is part of the bloodthirster. Then you finish with a phantom dancer, which is an even better version of a zeal. Then you get a bf sword for the much needed attack damage. Obviously, you need an infinity edge whenever you get a phantom dancer for more attack damage, critical strike damage, and critical strike chance. After that, you get a bloodthirster, it gives you attack damage and lifesteal. Since infinity edges don't stack, you just need attack speed and critical strike now so get another phantom, then a starks fervor for lifesteal and attack speed. IF you want, sell your boots for another bloodthirster since it gives off attack damage and lifesteal and your phantoms will make your movement like if you have boots of speed.
