Master Yi is a melee carry, dealing tons of damage, and be able to get A LOT of kills. He takes a lot of damage, both early and late game. If you dont have Yi, you really should buy him, for only 450 IP.

I use to buy critical strike runes and attack damage runes. Im not really an expert for runes. You should not buy so many runes, until you get level 20 and can buy tier 3 runes. They are alot better, and it would just be wasting money buying tier 1 and 2 runes.

You can see the mastery ''tree'' i use longer up on the page. I use 21 - 0 - 9 for the best damage output for Master Yi.

I buy first Dorans blade. Then i buy Berserker Grave's for movement speed and attack speed. Then i continue to panthom dancer for more Attack Speed and Movement speed, and critical strike. Critical strike is very important for Yi, so i buy a bloodthirster, infinity edge, and again a panthom dancer. When i then have bought all 6 items, i sell Doran's blade and buy a bloodthirster for damage and lifesteal.

I use Flash and ignite. I use Flash at almost every champion i play, becouse its good at both escaping from someone, and running after someone. You can also use flash trough walls, and it is nice to have for turret dives to.

I Like ignite becouse if you are in a 1v1 fight, or even a team fight, you can use it at people with low health, garanteed to get a kill, unless someone heal him. When ignite is on someone, he does not get as mutch heal as normally.

You can also play Master Yi as a jungler, but i dont like him to play that. He can be very good at jungling, but since he's a carry, its not the best strategy to jungle, unless you are very good at ganking lanes for kills.
