So yeah.

It's fairly straightforward, Yi is a simple character to use, if you don't screw up early game. Mid is most useful, so fight for it if you have to. This isn't much of a guide, just a build that's worked for me time and time again.

Situational Items

If you don't have the mana runes and you're running low (as I constantly was) I suggest building Manamune, great bonus all around.

Edit: I'Ve been replacing the frozen mallet with trinity force lately, works like a charm

Runes

For marks, either attack speed or armor pen, depends what you prefer. Otherwise mana regen and flat mana along with attack speed and health regen. You should be fine against most champs early game, and easily snatch first blood
