So I Guess if you are here, you are a new player/player looking for a new champion or Player who wants to play master Yi better.
Keeper of the ancient art of Wuju, Master Yi is a mystical warrior from the isle of Ionia. His village was steeped in Wuju, and his kinfolk were some of the few to carry the tradition into the modern day. That is, until the armies of Noxus came to Ionia, ravaging the land. Master Yi went to fight the craven enemy, bringing his village honor through his unparalleled mastery of the blade. However, in his absence, the armies of Noxus closed in and tested the latest invention of the chemist now known as Singed. What was done to his village is something of which Master Yi will not speak. However, he has brought his mastery of the blade to the League of Legends in order to avenge his kinfolk and end the predations of the Noxus once and for all.

-After using Ultimate on a gank that is not working out, Yi barely has a way of fleeing from battle.
Alpha Strike - Master Yi leaps across the battlefield with blinding speed, dealing magic damage to multiple units in his path with a chance to deal bonus magic damage to minions.
Master Yi leaps across the battlefield striking up to 4 enemies, dealing 100/150/200/250/300 (+1) magic damage to each enemy with a 20/30/40/50/60% chance to deal 400 bonus magic damage to minions.
Cost 80/90/100/110/120 Mana
Meditate - Master Yi rejuvinates his body by focus of mind, restoring health and increasing his armor and magic resistance for a short time.
Master Yi channels, restoring 140/280/420/560/700 (+1.65) health over 5 seconds. While channeling, Master Yi gains 100/150/200/250/300 armor and magic resistance.
Cost 70/85/100/115/130 Mana
Wuju Style - Master Yi becomes skilled in the art of Wuju, passively increasing the power of his physical attacks. Activating Wuju Style doubles the passive bonus damage for a short time, but the passive bonus is temporarily removed after the effect wears off.
Passive: Increases physical damage by 15/20/25/30/35.
Active: Master Yi can activate this ability to double its effectiveness for 10 seconds, but this removes the passive bonus until Wuju Style becomes available again.
Cost 40/40/40/40/40 Mana
Highlander - Master Yi moves with unparalleled agility, temporarily increasing Master Yi's movement and attack speeds as well as making him immune to all slowing effects. Additionally, killing a Champion refreshes all of Master Yi's cooldowns.
Increases Master Yi's movement speed by 40% and Attack Speed by 40/60/80%, and he becomes immune to all slowing effects for 6/9/12 seconds. Additionally, killing a champion refreshes all of Master Yi's cooldowns. (Assists reduce half of the base cooldown amount.)
Cost 120/120/120 Mana
Double Strike - Master Yi strikes twice every 7th attack.
Greater Mark of Desolation and Greater Quintessence of Desolation :
They are for ArmorPen. They are the biggest damage wise boost stats .Makes BIG difference in early game. With your highest ingame AD base, you will be no match in most cases paired with those babies. In early game your taking off 99% of squishy char's.
Greater Seal of Evasion :
Great addition to Phantom Dancer, It . Will probably save you many times, especially in early game to stay alive.
Greater Glyph of Potency :
Since Alpha Strike is AP this really helps for first bloods.
Strategy, How to play Yi and where ? :
Farming - Last Hit/Alpha. Not much to say here.
Wuju Style is very strong early for last hitting minions.
Don't spam alpha though.
Helpful hint: IF the minion is dead and you alpha'ed to it, you'll return back to your original position. Try to get used to using this technique. Also remember to last hit. You don't want to push to hard.(Not what she said)
Play conservatively, you shouldn't die during the early game.
Teamplay - Help them out, give them tips.
Don't go,"u nob"
Type with PROPER english or close to it.
Don't say "HE KSED ME when your teammate saved your life in the process"
Let them get away with the first KS.
Don't let a team mate rage quit. Don't let team mates argue with each other.
Tower Pushing : Master Yi is one of the best tower pusher's, why ? He can use wuju style to get the tower killed and right after the kill he can just meditate to full health.
Team Figthing : Master Yi is one of the best Tank Pwners so just focus the tank before you own all the others.
Before Game : Before the game starts try and tell your teammates that you will go mid solo, and get a range carry with a dps on either lane. Also try and find out your teams expierience and their masteries/runes.
Why Mid ?
- Going 1v1 is way better than going 2v2. You are quite squishy early game, easy to harass, so if 2 champions focus on you early game you will die pretty much in 80% if not used a Flash or ultimate to get away
- Lvl up faster to 6 and gankonanza!
- Safe creep killing. You need to last hit your mobs. on double lane you are often pushed back by range char and not earning money that you DESPERATELY NEED. Being in mid will let you farm alot easier.
- Mid is the best place for ganking after coming back from base.
- Close to other lanes for help and getting even more kills.
Early Game :
In Early game the first thing you need to buy is :
Vampiric Scepter, why ? This item will help you get first bloods and stay on mid the longest time possible.
Once your level 6, or when you have enough money buy :
boots of speed or berserker grieves, why ? Boots are the most important item's to buy, they will help you catch up with low hp stragglers, and berserkers give you 25% attack speed, which is useful even end game.
By level the time you get stark's fervor mid game is about to start.
Stark's fervor is one of the best items for Master Yi, the lifesteal is incredible and the passive is vary useful.
Mid Game :
By now you should have at least 10 kills, maybe less, And the next item is sword of the occult.
This item is very bad mid game, but the only reason you get it is for the passive.
You get 10 AD per champion you kill and 5 AD per assist imagine the total AD 5x20 = 100 AD end game plus with 20 Stacks you get 15% Attack Speed, to me this is an OP item.
The next item to take is Zeal, or Phantom Dancer, that is when the fun starts =D
End Game :
With you awesome stacks and stats you just own you don't even need to follow the build anymore.
But following the build is better.
Just get BF, Then Bloodthirster and start lane hopping to get kills or assists, also start ganking and try to jungle as much as possible to regain health.
If the game isn't over yet just get IE, you can now go 1v5 and kill everyone with full hp.
If your not full hp, just use meditate.
If you used this guide correctly you will be at least 10/2/2 Ratio Otherwise go back in your cave and hide, cuz yi ain't no playa for ya.
If You want take the Summoner spell : Cleanse, this way when you rush into a 3v5 situation with Croud Controllers, You won't take a scratch.
