Introduction

Why is master yi a truck?!?! Well this build shows you how to play tanky, and yet steamroll kids and make them cry about how Master Yi is not a bruiser. This guide is mainly for a jungle Master Yi.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
-Tankier than a typical Master Yi
-Insane DPS
-Great jungle speed
-Fun to play
-Tough to shut down


Cons:
-Easily counter picked
-Tough to gank with
-Very independant

Runes / Masteries

Prioritised mobility and durability, because of the needed movement or initiation, aswell as staying alive. This buiild still give tons of DPS but instead of dying after two kills, you stay alive long enough to get a penta. 9/13/8 Armor pen offence, Durability defence and mobility utility. For runes red is armor pen for maximum damage, armor yellows and magic resistance blues for durability and mouvment speed quintessences.

Summoner Spells

Smite is obviously a no brainer.
I prefer exhaust to make your ganks better, with more CC.
Cleanse and ghost are great moblity, take cleanse if your heart is still set on playing yi against a heavy CC team
I prefer to steer away from ignite, it doesn't bring much to a jungler.
Everything else I don't think need arguing.

Creeping / Jungling

Start off at Big golem (blue buff) and take it, I recommend a hard leash and save your smite. Start with cloth 5, easiest jungle start. *NOTE* Remember to kill wolves before the golem! Then head to the enemy red, take it yourself and secure it with smite. Then gank middle or top, head back to your jugle for your buffs to refreash after.
