Introduction

Master Yi is one of the best recommended champions. He is only 450 influence points and is a great melee dps carry. As Yi your job is to either carry your team tank a turret if needed and harass the enemy team a lot.

Runes

For runes, I take all 9 Marks of Alacrity for great attack speed. 4 Glyphs of Resilence because Yi is a squishy champion early game. 5 Glyphs of Strength because early attack damage would be nice, knowing Phantom Dancer doesn't give any. 5 Seals of Fortitude for some health. 5 Seals of Malice for some really good critical strike chance. For my Quintessences I take 3 Quintessences of Desolation for all that great armour penetration.

Masteries

My Masteries are 21-0-9. I don't worry too much about defensive masteries when playing yi because of my armour runes and the ultilty would be nicer. When I play Yi i go full AD/AS so I have 21 points in offense.

Items

I start out with a Dorans Blade. For boots i immediately snag Berserker's Greaves. After that I rush a Phantom Dancer, Zeal first, followed by a Vampiric Scetper for some life steal while I build my B.F. Sword for Infinity Edge. After that, starting out with a chain vest OR null magic mantle, depending on enemy team, I get my Guardian Angel. Last I get a Black Cleaver starting with B.F. Sword.

Skill Sequence

I always get Alpha Strike first then max Wuju Style, and getting Highlander, whenever possible. After Wuju Style is maxed, I get 3 points on Meditate, and then 2 more on Alpha Strike, maxing Meditate then Alpha Strike.

Summoner Spells

For Summoner Spells I get Ignite and Exhaust. Knowing Yi is melee DPS, Exhaust helps to catch up to champions to do damage and slow them down for even more time to kill or take health down. Ignite I love early game. It's a great way to get first blood and to get early feed because many champions start out slow without getting boots first, so Ignite does the job for you after you have taken them down to ABOUT one bar or lower.

Farming

Skills you can use to farm for Master Yi are Alpha Strike to do damage to all minions in the area, or atleast most. Wuju Style to take down minions faster by doing more damage. For BIG farms you could use Highlander, but only if there are at least 15 minions or if it's on a low cooldown.

Summary

Yi is a great carry, and if you follow this guide well, you are sure to win some games with Yi. Remember your team is counting on you and you are also counting on your team. Don't expect to win solo queues. Thank's for reading my guide. First one ever. PLEASE RATE :)
