I think you need to grab a vamp scepter sooner.

For 450 gold you get 10% damage mitigation in a duel, the ability to solo any jungle mob except baron and leave full hp and can save your mana by not needing meditate ever again?

I do not want to say this but I will even do it might do a spam war. Tryndamere as powerful as he is if you play smart with Yi you can kill tryndamere without dying I did it more times I can count versus fed tryndamere he is powerful but it is possible to run it over if you are smart enough to run when endless rage hits and stay close enough when it wares off to alpha strike him and he dies. This might only be me but tryndamere and Yi are equal in character wize there just way more people that can play tryndamere well then there are Yi player that can play to do anything during a game.

I'll try this build out after college, for now it remains as is. Thanks for feedback - I just don't want to keep editing without testing it for myself. :P

In all seriousness though, a Frozen Mallet is a great item, only problem is it's cost.
For the guide writer, I feel like you could try different (optional items for build) and include how it was able to help you. I dunno, :P , maybe that's something original?

I know this is getting annoying for you seeing you wanted to be original and all but this is for the order. You might want to consider after building grieves to go for B.F Sword which early game gives you a small advantage in damage that you kinda want then go for phantom dancer and follow by what ever. This is mostly to deal damage enough to kill and maybe to get yourself fed since early game damage is equal to kills so this will help you get money faster kill dragon at level 8 ish or 10 if you do not want to risk it and get your team bonus in gold including yourself making that 190 gold each time dragon appear you will see a big difference during the game play.

There, updated. I was trying to be a little original, if I wanted to copy someone else's build I would of.

Instead of Guardian angel my friend suggest maybe to go with frozen malet for the extas hp and the slowdown for the rest of your team to be able to help you in case you land in a team battle.

-> Before I forget my friend and I are in the same apartment so he saw you guide through me since he does not use the site and when he does and want to comment he takes my account since he is to laze to make his own lol. He encourage you not to give up and keep trying different things the stuff he suggest might not be the best for you but work for others like he like to go 2 phantom and infinity edge for the 85% crit chance and 150% crit dmg which with the mastery goes to 160% crit dmg. But he says not everyone like to build two phantom since they think its useless with Yi which honestly it is just a manner of opinion. Anyway yeah Frozen Malet idea was basically since people say you lack survivability which we can all agree and that will get you extras 700 hp and slowdown per hit giving your team a chance to reach with also extras damage.
