Miss Fortune Build
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hi everyone !
Here is my first build/guide on moba'. As presentation i play about all days but i'm not high elo or stuff...
The build you are going to read is about Miss Fortune played mid as carry.
Dont use this build and runepages if you are'nt playing mid =).
Mf is a strong carry if well played, but it can be kinda squishy. First, you'll need a good tank to be top-usefull.
This guide isnt destined to high elo ranked, just people who want to discover mf...
For those who brave the harsh seas of Runeterra, attaining one's own ship and crew is the pinnacle of success. Sarah Fortune, a well-respected (some would say legendary) bounty hunter from Bilgewater, was able to achieve this feat just after her sixteenth birthday, etching out her name as the go-to gal for resolving special troubles. No bounty was too difficult or too dangerous for her feminine charm and her renowned use of her twin pistols, ''Shock and Awe''. Her success gave her the means to legitimately purchase her own ship... with a little flirtatious haggling, of course. Things weren't always so fortunate for Miss Fortune, though. When she was young, trade ships began to dot the horizon of her quiet home in the northern shores of Blue Flame Island's largest chunk. Trade routes brought piracy, and the inhabitants soon found themselves caught in a frenzy of pillage.
One day, young Sarah returned home to hear gunshots and screaming. Her front door was smashed open; inside, she saw her mother lying in a pool of blood. A sudden blow to her head made her collapse next to her slain mother. The last thing she could remember were her attacker's red eyes, as his face was blocked by a rogue's bandana. Miss Fortune has a strong distrust for pirates and she finds herself constantly bickering with the infamous Gangplank (the only captain to resist her charms) over the direction of Bilgewater politics. Her two goals: to unite the people of Bilgewater, making them into a strong and independent society, and to find the pirate who killed her mother. To that end, she has entered the League of Legends as a champion, trading her skills for the wealth and influence that will help her accomplish both.
About runes, i go for Armor Pen Quints and marks, flat armor seals and flat mr glyphs. Playing mid means face Mages most of the time, magic resist is good to holda lane without backing all 3 mins. Armor is good at start to face minions that focus you each time you attack the ennemy champion, they hurt those little b*stards.
Classical 21/0/9 as masteries, look also for defensive tree if you dont have the flat runes i mentionned above. Go for armor piercing and damage on minions of course, attack damage and critical damage.
Nothing special here, start with Impure shots that give you good farm and attack speed if needed. Then go for Make It Rain. This spell is good to push your opponent and slow him, giving you the time to place 2-3 shots, maxed by Impure Shots. Dont use Make I Rain to farm, i costs much mana and doesnt rly give you more creeps if they are full life. Ulti at level 6 of course, and mac up MIR and Impure shots.
Why i love Impure Shots : Active is really awesome against self-healing champs such as Vlad, Kata with Hextech, Sion, Trynd, Nocturne, Yi, etc etc... The passive allows you to make good damage even versus high armor champs if you got attack speed. Think to activate it as often as possible to push tower or chase an ennemy (Impure Shots active + Phage garantees awesome chase reliability).
How to play and how the runes work.
Mf isn't meant to be played lane. Mid you will be facing mostly mages, so the mr glyphs are awesome to get reliability. Plus, mages barely have more than 30 armor at start. Armor pen will blow them up. Then, Armor gives you survivability against minions and jungles that comes to gank. Really usefull.
Just harrass you ennemy with MIT + Impure shots, or with your Q if they are playing safe. With MF you can easly outfarm slow mages, like Lux for exemple.
For Summonner spells exhaust gives you what MF's missing : disable. Really usefull to rush an ennemy mid life or escape incoming jungler. Flash is only used as escape, because MF doesnt have and is squishy when get pounced on.
About items it's a classical build, except the phage. Let me explain : Make It Rain + Phage will allow you to kill without using exhaust or flash, wich is really cool nah ? :D.
IE for damage + Phantom dancer to max IE and Phage. Then classical lifesteal and damage, armor pen if needed + banshee if lots of disables/stuns.
Actually, You can start with regrowth pendant if you've got AD runes and go for a philosopher stone, kina awesome too.
When to use ulti ?
Mf's ulti is really hard to use. Use it only if you are sure to hit ennemies that wont escape fast, after mumu's ulti for example. If you master the use of ulti you will blow teamfights.
MF IS SQUISHY, STAY BACK AND FOCUS OTHER CARRY. NEVER GO CLOSE TO FIGHT.
Rushers such like xin and irelia will blow you up if you're not careful. Ulti can be used from jungle so they cant see it coming, kinda must-do if you've got mass stunners such as mumu of malphite.
Pros / Cons
- Good damage mid/late game
- Nice harass
- Rly good chaser
- Ulti can make the teamfight won.
- Hard to use ulti
- no stun/disable.
Roll ennemies with high crits, awesome chase and kicking *ss ulti. Don't be too greedy and be careful of ganks. If an ennemy stuns you and your flash isn't up, you're kinda dead.
Here we are, i hope this guide wasnt too noobish and will allow you to roll with MF =)
See ya' Moba trollers. Roll hard !
