Miss Fortune Build
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
First off - you may notice some similarity to the Miss Fortune - Champion Spotlight. There are some similarities because I feel it works and have proven so many times. However, the runes and items are different.
Ghost - You're fast but there's nothing wrong with more speed.. Your passive makes you incredibly fast but all it takes is one hit from ANYTHING and you're back to the same speed as everyone else. Ghost is nice for the "just in case" moments.
Flash - Ever have problems with a champion being just out of ur reach of only 1 more shot? Flash and Double Down eliminate that problem. Flash, Double Down furthest minion back, kill the enemy champ.
Other Spells: I've also tried ignite and exhaust. Exhaust is a personal favorite and works well with multiple champs. Ignite is nice just in case ur double down doesnt finish him, ignite him and let the DOT do the rest.
Masteries - I use the necessary Physical DPS masteries in Offense then finish in Utility. The mana regen selections in Utility combined with the Mana Regen runes I selected keep your mana pool filling up constantly.
Skill Sequence - I choose make it rain first strictly for help with the team. If i personally was going for first blood Double Down is the way to go first. But to help assure that your team gets it, take Make It Rain. After the first team battle Double Down is your main focus fitting in Make It Rain and your Ult when you can. Impure shots can be combine in the mix wherever you please. Just be sure to level Double Down as quickly as you can. (it hits hard)
Items - Yes, you are fast because your passive but again, nothing wrong with more speed! Especially in those situations where "damn! i could have killed him had i been faster!" or "damn! just one more hit that would have been 2 kills!." After boots of speed work on Manamune. It's good to get Manamune early to get it's full effects ASAP. After Manamune finish off your AS Boots and purchase Vampiric Scepter. This is the start of your Bloodthirster. BUT! Dont get bloodthirster yet. By now you're hitting decently hard which makes 12% lifesteal from the scepter viable. Instead of finishing Bloodthirster get Phage and finish a Frozen Mallet. Here's the equation:
Your Movement Speed + Your Attack Speed + Slow Effect + Attack Damage = Death to Enemy Champ
Your Movement Speed + Slow Effect + 12% Lifesteal = Safe Getaway
I like either one.
After Frozen Mallet finish your build off with Bloodthirster and Phantom Dancer. After these items you are a sure carry for your team if your Skill with Miss Fortune is up to par.
