Introduction

This is a very aggressive build. its intention is a hybrid with good damage output with good survivability as well. what this means is it doesnt matter who your up against you will put out the damage to kill them and live to tell the tale. It is made to push your enemies back to their tower and keep them there. i have have solo laned against 2 ppl and managed to keep them under presure the entire time. also you can easily mid with this build against any ranged player. remember tho this my first time creating a build here so i may just confuse you lol.

Runes

the runes are pretty strait forward. ap per lvl marks for late game. flat ap seals for early game and mag pen glyphs for damage. also flat hp quints because mord needs it early game.

Masteries

i use a 21/6/3 build. you get the damage output with a little defence and the hp regen wich is esential for spamming mords abilities.

Summoner Spells

for summoner spells i get ignite ( no exception ) and either ghost or flash. i prefer ghost to make getting around easier and as an escape tool when needed. however if your laning against someone with alot of cc or slows go with flash. ignite and your ult can take a soft to medium player from about 1/3 health to dead with ease.

Abilities

Mords passive is Iron Man: 25 / 27.5 / 30% of the damage dealt from abilities is converted into a temporary shield, absorbing incoming damage. Maximum shield strength is 90 + (30 x level). The shield decays by 3% per second.

Q ability is Mace of Spades: On next hit, Mordekaiser swings his mace with such force that it echoes out, striking up to 3 additional nearby targets, dealing magic damage. If the target is alone, the ability deals 75% more damage.

W ability is Creeping Death: Unleashes a protective cloud of metal shards to surround an ally, increasing their armor and magic resistance and dealing magic damage per second to enemies in the cloud for 6 seconds.

E ability is Siphon of Destruction: Mordekaiser damages enemies in a cone in front of him, dealing magic damage. For each unit hit, Mordekaiser's shield absorbs additional health.

Ulti is Children of the Grave: Mordekaiser deals damage to the target and curses it for 10 seconds, stealing life. Damage is equal to a percentage of the target's maximum health. If the target dies while under the effect of the curse, their soul is enslaved and will follow Mordekaiser for 30 seconds. During this time, Mordekaiser gains 20% of their ability power and attack damage. The spirit gains 75% of Mordekaiser's adjusted damage, ability power, and health totals.

Strategy

If you can anticipate incoming damage or you may be focuses or you need to run away its a good idea to pound on a minion wave and build up your passive. it will increase your survivability a lot.
Mace is a good farming tool but if you think an enemy is moving in to initiate get off away from creeps and blast em with it it does more damage to solo targets.

Creeping death has good utility so use it. drop it on a minion to assist in farming while you stay out of range of their range harassers and to keep their melee from last hitting minions. use it on an ally thats being chased you may save a friend today. and use it on yourself either defensivly or when pulverizing an apponent for the extra damage.

Siphon is probably my most used ability. its great for harassing and pushing a lane. its good for chasing because you can cast it anticipatorily where you think they will be. no need to face check bushes either. and aslong as your enemy in in the cones range when you cast it they will get hit even if they run a little out when it hits. all in all a great ability.
Last but not least your ultimate. Children of the Grave. Rediculously powerful spell.
Getting low on health in a fight? cast it on a tank and watch your HP jump. an enemy gonna get away with 1/4 health? i dont think so cast children and ignite and fugitabowdit. did Shaco just pop his clone and run? enslave his clones soul and tank a tower. it also works on Le Blancs clone and another mordekaisers spirit pet. yes you can steal a children of the grave with your children of the grave. try to focus high damage output targets if you anticipate using it to fight with you or a tanky target if using it to tank a turret for you. but any champins soul will do in a pinch. to controll your spirit pet hold the alt button and rightclick your target. the spirit has a teather and will poet back to your side if you get to far away.

Skill Sequence

i get siphon first, its your best harassment spell then mace of spades next. it will help with farming and if an enemy gets too close it does mad damage. i put a point in creeping death for the utility of it. it does help if your getting attacked but mostly i drop it on a melee minion. it will not only deal damage to enemy minions but also your apponents wont go stand in it meaning your denying them gold from last hits. always put a point in your ult when avaliable. i switch between siphon an mace until maxed then finish off creeping death. if your up against an apponent like MF or Caitlin adding another point into creeping death is sometimes a good idea for the extra defence from harassment.

Team Work

Mord is a great team player. you drop minions health fast so farming is easy and your shield can save your teem mate if needed. however you will probably get most of the kills in a fight because thats just how mord does it. and remember harass harass harass.

Items

as for item build. its very dependant on how the match is going. ie. do you have a lot of early game kills? are you getting focused by master Yi or garen? or is it a Kat and Mundo your up against? these all come into play for deciding the item sequence. always start with the hp regen pendant and health pot. this will let you spam abilities and stay in lane long enuf to farm for the next item. now are your apponents soft? or are they tanks? if soft get sorcerers shoes and destroy them. if they are more tanky just get base boots and another regen pendant then get the shoes when you have the gold. the next item is force of nature. the mag resist is nice if your up against a mage in lane but the real reason is the hp regen. with this item you regen more hp than your abilities take away so spam away!! now depending on the enemy compilation. if your against ad go with sunfire then get a void staff. if against mages get abyssal cepter for the mag resist. either way you will get abyssal cepter eventualy because you will melt faces with creeping death ans siphon late game. Mace is awesome for 1v1 encounters too btw. now if they have alot of atack speed champs. ie. Yi ashe MF WW etc. get a thorn mail instead of sunfire. and if you have the extra cash sell off something useless late game and get he death cap and go 2 shot fools.

just remember item builds arent static for early mid and late game you need to see what the enemy is building and counter accordingly. ie they are stacking mag resist. you will get mag pen. or they are stacking att speed you get thorn mail.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
dominates in lane
great farmer
solid in all game phases( early mid and late )

Cons:
abilities use HP. so when low be carefull
early and mid game you WILL be focused
team mates will QQ alot because you will get all the killing blows.

Extra info

just remember your a beast. you take little damage and dish mass ammounts on your enemies but your not invincible. play smart. your awesome solo or with a partner just remember its a team game and they need gold too. if you have a ghost of an enemy you can use it either to tank a tower for you, help you farm, or my favorite send it after an enemy for the kill or just to scare em off. oh hold the alt key and right click to controll the ghosts.
