Here's my idea for a good Morgana build after playing her a bit.

Morgana's great point is stun, dark binding should be your first skill because there's always a chance they have a stupid or reckless champion for an early kill. Black shield does not need to be leveled very much as the AP you will have will increase its shield amount by A LOT. Generally playing as Morgana you want to Tormented Soil, Dark Bind them to that soil, run up and Soul Shackle. If needed Ignite.

Ignite is a fairly important spell, although clarity or just about anything else can be used as a secondary spell.

Items that provide AP increase Morgana's endgame damage by tons. Generally the mana/health regen and gold provided by the Stone make up for the fact that it costs a bit more than Doran's. As important as spell pen is getting some armor and dodge does help a bit more in my opinion, but it's up to you. Order of legendary items could be changed up a bit, an ages before arch possibly, it does depend on how long the game will last and how you generally play.

Pots can be used for extra AP to get some extra damage in early game.

Black Shield is a very useful spell, use it when possible to avoid slowing effects or stuns that would otherwise stop you from getting a kill, or actually get you killed. Anticipating when your enemy is going to launch their ultimate can make you near unstoppable.

A Vamp item could be substituted for the second rod of ages, or lich bane.

Notes: Ability Power, Mana, and Health will be quite a bit higher than shown 50-60 minutes in.
