LoL Summoner Spell: Ignite

Ignite

LoL Summoner Spell: Exhaust

Exhaust

Introduction

Hi, this is my first guide on mobafire and I will try my best to describe Riven as good as possible, will update this thread as I come up with more ideas!

Why movement speed riven? I accidently had my Irelia runes & masteries while playing Riven so I wanted to troll by gettin as much movement speed as possible. The result turned out to be amazing.

Items

Follow the item build strict, I left a spot at the end for situational items. If you play against a fed AD I would suggest to get a Thornmail. Against a fed AP I suggest to get a Force of Nature. It will also grant you even more movement speed! nomnomnom!

But if you would rather buy anything else, go ahead and try it out. Preferably something defensive.

Summoner spells

I like playing with both ignite and exhaust. I find that I have enough movement speed as it is. If you want to try and trade one of them against ghost I guess that would be alright, but this works better for me.

Early game

Play a bit defensive at lvl 1, but as you level you will get very strong. Try to harass with one Q gettin to the enemy, stun and go back. Usually I dont have to go back because of the scared enemies. Remember this is a big mental game too, if you act strong you will be strong. This build works really well in normal games if you lane with someone. It also works great as solotop. Noone will catch up to yer incredible speed! ;)

Midgame

Time to roam! By now you should have yer ghostblade, bloodthirster(or half built) and boots of swiftness. Try to call ganks mid or even top if you'd like, yer nice movement speed is amazing for chasing as it is for escaping. Get a few kills and start pushing a tower.

Lategame

Play with your teammates, don't go too cocky. That's all I have to say about lategame. Might update this later.

Pro / Cons

+ Ungankable if played correctly.
+ Excellent at chasing enemies.
+ Massive damage early/mid game.
+ Good lane-sustainability.
+ Nice for roaming and stealing enemy jungle creeps.

- Cannot rambo 1v5 lategame. :(
- Focused as hell if you get fed, so play as a team please.

Summary

As a conclusion I'd like to say that Riven movement speed is the best Riven. Also something you have to keep in mind is knowing how strong you are early/mid game and anticipating how strong the enemies are to avoid harass that cost you more health than it costs them.

Here's a pic of my last games playing as Riven. 7/8 was a bit fail, but we won! Sometimes you gotta let the Ad carry have the kills ;)
