I am one of the players that like to try weird different builds but i find Tank Kennen the most successful of the weird build. I tried DPS Kennen as well but have had little success with it.

There is only one way to play tank Kennen you must take MID.

The reason why you want mid is that 1 vs 1 you could kill any hero early on easily. The only hero that i found that is hard to lane against has to be(as much as i don't want to admit it) Le Blanc and Mordekaiser.

Pros: Fun to play, good farming, good harasser, Ultimate a lot better than Amumu. Can chase easily, good initiator.

Cons: Very item dependent.

His item are pretty much standard tank items. I start of with Doran's Shield so i can harass But Warmogs is a must for this build since he has low base HP base stats. After that its pretty much depends on what the other enemy team has. (More AP or AD). But most of the time regardless, I get Force of Nature.

In order to dominate early game in MID lane. You need to get electrical surge first the reason behind this at level one is the passive. Hit creep, hit creep, hit creep, hit creep, hit champion activate electrical surge. Next is to get Lighting rush so you can start farming and easily catch them in a 3 mark combo and it gives you a bit of armor and magical resist can you initiate which really helps. I usually can land a kill before level 6 if the decides to go toe to toe with me and u can easily stun and ignite them.

If you are against Morde don't bother harassing him. For LeBlanc harass if you think you can outplay her. Otherwise just concentrate on farming.
