Dr. Mundo Build
Not Updated For Current Season
Okay so this is how I generally build/play Mundo.
This build is designed to take a punch but at the same time harass and kill the **** out of their team.
So for masteries the reason I go all into attack speed and crit chance is with the item set up I've got going, theres really no need for any Defence type runes. And I'm a REALLY aggressive player with Mundo so I like BLOOD OF ENEMIES DRIPPING DOWN MY RUSTY CLEAVR RAWR!.
At 20% crit chance with machoism you can crit for 400-500 easy. So thats where the harassing part of the build comes from.
You can always put your other 9 points into the Defence Tree, but I find with the extra exp gain a little better.
Personally I would stick with Flash and Ghost, reason being with those two topped off with Sadism you can pretty chase down anyone or escape almost any situation.
Other spells I would use would be Exhaust or recently I have been experimenting with cleanse and so far no complaints(It's still no flash tho :D)
So for skills I always ALWAYS MAX OUT CLEAVER OF DOOM! Since this lovely skill is percent based :D
Ill rotate between leveling Infected Cleaver and Machoism, I don't level up Burning Agony till the end because although It's a great farming skill I usually last hit with either Cleaver or when Machoism is on.
So starting out I grab a Health Potion and Doran's shield for the boost in health and the regen so I can constantly spam the good Old Cleaver :D
I will always try to stay in a lane as long as possible and with Mundos Ult it's not really a problem unless you get ganked for some reason :D. When I do go back I grab a pair of Swiftness boots (If you have enough, If not just get Boots of Speed and a Ruby) and go for Spirit Visage next.
The next items I get are entirely up to what type of team I'm facing. Mostly AD then I'll go straight for Warmongs, AP = Force of Nature. Afterwards ill either go Thornmail/Sunfire Cape for an AD team or grab another Force of Nature or Banshee's Vail (Yes I realize Mundo has no mana but the spell block is soooo nice to have)
By the time I have Guardian Angel and finish all my items and buy full elixirs for fun :D I can literally take on the whole team with Sadism now. (Mind you will probably only get a kill or two)
So with my mighty Doran's Shield in hand I will constantly harass whoever my cleaver comes into contact with :D
If I'm soloing a lane with two enemy heroes who are just as annoying as me ill just stick to last hitting creeps with Cleaver. Once you have Sadism your pretty much set and the only reason to go back would be If you get ganked or the whole team comes to push your lane and you're the only one there to defend and can't do anything about it.
By mid game you should have your cozy Boots of Swiftness and Spirit Visage and be on your way to a Warmongs or Force of Nature. With your Boots of Swiftness on you should be ganking as much as possible, Mundo is an amazing tower diver with Sadism on, and with flash/Ghost up your set up for an exit.
Alright so now for the fun part :D
Late game you're a beast, once you finish acquiring all your items you pretty much can't be stopped. And with blue buff on you can spam the **** out of Sadism. Just pretty much keep doing what you're doing I even find myself getting cockier by late game and taking the whole team at times and surviving.
The more HP you have the more HP regeneration, and with this build the enemy will have a hard time taking you down.
You won't dish out amazing damage if you go this build but I find staying alive and harassing the enemy team is much more important for your team's success.
Alright so that it's please feel free to comment, good or bad all criticism is welcome :D
