Champion Build Guide

Introduction

Hi. My IGN LoomyBand. I'm a plat jungle main and I usually like to play off meta picks during norms. This, however, is different. I am playing Teemo jungle in ranked and it's busted, especially against autoing champs like graves. Teemo jungle may seem bad at first. You might think his clear is ****, his ganks are ****, that everything is **** about Teemo jungle. But, let me tell you this. He's not as bad as you think. Trust me. Pepelaugh.

First Clear

First, level 1 start e and path accordingly. His e does 50% extra damage to jungle camps. His clear is pretty healthy. For the first few camps, make sure to go invisible and then start killing the camps. You're passive allows you to gain extra attack speed for the first few seconds after appearing which gives you that extra boost of damage you need. If you start blue, clear to gromp and depending on your leash, smite gromp if blue is below 400. If not, smite blue and move on to gromp. At level 2 get q, your blind. Because of Teemo's recent q buffs, it makes him much more viable in the jungle as well as the fact that his q blind duration is doubled for jungle monster camps so that's 4 seconds of safety from jungle camps at level 1. Once you get level 3, put another point into e for extra damage to monster camps. I always 5 camp clear so for blue side, I would go blue, gromp, wolves, raps, red, then gank, or scuttle. Same thing for clearing red side. Max e then q.

Ganking

When ganking, use your w for the speed to catch up to them, then start kiting them. Try and stay some distance away, but path so you will be constantly autoing them. If they engage you, blind them allowing them to miss autos which is crucial. If you're counter ganking or getting counter ganked, make sure to blind the champ who deals most damage by autoing. For example, there's an Ornn top and you're counter ganking the graves. Obviously, the graves does most damage from autos so blind graves allowing you to potentially turn the tides of the fight. For ganking bot, always blind the adc, that will essentially make the adc completely useless and it almost always results in a kill. If the champ is yasuo or samira for example, wait for them to use the windwall so you can blind them without trouble. You can also use your blind to stop some cc. For example, if you blind volibear, if he qs you, he'll miss the stun.

Build Order

When playing Teemo in the jungle, it is essential that you rush berserker greaves. This gives Teemo a huge boost for his early game in speed and damage. This will help massively with ganking, kiting, and killing champs. It will also help your clear speed a lot. Also, if you think you will be getting lots of kill participation, get dark seal. This will help you scale fast. When I play Teemo jungle, I usually will build leeching leer first since it helps keep me really healthy during clearing as well as staying alive while in a 1v1 or teamfight. Next, I'll get blasting wand and/or recurve bow. I will then finish my riftmaker and after, build to finish my nashers tooth. That is the core build for Teemo. After, it's mostly situational.

Team Fights

All you have to know is make sure to blind the adc, or highest damage autoing champ.

1v1

If you're going against autoing champ, kite and blind them when they attack, throw a shroom on yourself so if they chase, they'll detonate it. If it's against something like a mage, try and dodge the abilities and do the same thing.
