I use these because it allows you to start with a dorians blade vs very easy match ups and give you a sustain that isn't expected of you.

This first build is very standard vs champions like gangplank, nidalee and nasus who are very ad oriented and while i think that wits end is a very good item choice if laning phase is long and their mid isn't bothering you that much then i'd say wait a bit and go for the all mighty bloodrazor since it give you armor which helps vs the late game ad and it gives you hp%dmg which helps vs the late game tank. Because of the high base resistance and armor from your ultimate i tend to not focus that much on getting that.

Okey so this is a build vs ap characters in top lane like rumble and characters like WW who rely on ap dmg during the major part of his laning phase. With just a little flat magic resistance from runes your fine vs these too. I take whits end vs characters like WW because it reduces the dmg taken by so much when it comes to ap characters especially if they cant stun you.

I could't find the lifesteal runes but i think they are a very viable option vs high sustain lanes just to keep you in lane. They also allow you to start with Dorians blade if you feel the lane is easy.

Okey I'll go through the items I use on Shyvana and items i dont use.

Okey, I use one Attack speed item either Wits, Bloodrazor or Ionan Spark. This is because it simply doesn't increase the damage enough to make it a good item choice to buy Two.

I use Wits vs AP team, Bloodrazor vs AD team and Ionian spark if its a very squishy team (its rare).

I always use Frozen Mallet its not a priority to build but its a very good item for Shyvana since she has an easy time getting to targets Frozen mallet makes it easier to stick to them.

Wrigglers, Atmas and BT
If i lane vs an AD i almost always take Wrigglers unless i stomp to hard and the jungler isn't much of a threat. And then i get the standard phage + atmas. But when if the enemy team run double ap i actually go BT because of the armor being next to useless and i dont run wrigglers vs a double ap because the armor is a waste of gold. Unless the ad carry is a major threat early I get Atmas very late if unless the game ends before i have time to do so.
