Introduction
I've been developing many guides for professional players on Solomid's homepage. Guides like -"Fear my stinger" (Another Skarner build)
"StingerDinger, your guide to understanding Heimerdinger"
"Stinger-Singah, your guide to understanding Lee Sin"
Those guides has taken up lots of my time, and I hope you will look positive upon them.
Summoner spells:
For summoner spells I believe that Cleanse + Flash is the optimal choice for Stinger Skarner. Imagine if you are ganking mid, the opponent brand lands his stuncombo, so that your Stingers won't reach him. That would be terrible for the Stingers, not to be able to show of their great power. Flash is following up Cleanse, because if you arent in range, with no boots, you need to catch up to sting them!
Runes:
Even though Skarner doesn't use energy, I still think that energy Glyphs are the perfect choice. It takes alot of energy to run without boots and attack with the Stingers. Therefore he needs some more energy.
For Marks and Quints, attack speed is a great synergi between Skarners passive and the stingers attackspeed.
For seal runes, the dodge runes are great for skarner. Cleanse has a rather long CD, so you'd want to be able to dodge brands stuncombo with your runes since you aren't skilled enough to dodge him yourself.
Masteries:
Not much to say here. 30 offensive points to maximize the Stingers effect.
