doran's ring is a real gamble to start with, also i don't see a reason to start with it O.o If the enemy toplaner has a little clue how to, you won't stay in the lane for too long, especially with 0 resistance at start. and later you are really squishy aswell, so you won't be able to do too much damage unless you got your fullbuild. I play very defensive until I get lvl 6. because you are a great farmer you get your itembuild very fast :P and in midgame you get often feeded :D With singed you are at low mana all the time so doransring is nice :D but you might also take mana or dorans shield or boots :P I think 3200 hp and with ulti 200 amor and 130 magic ressistance is not squish because you are no tank :D Check out my never chase Singed AP solo top guide
