ROA maxes at 10 mins, getting it in mid game is plenty of time, if you feel otherwise than get Rabadons and shift the build up. These things are suggestions, not set in stone.

As for the spear throws, thats reserved for champs not minions. I figured that much was obvious. Same for the traps and heals, use as needed I don't need to tell you know to play, thats what trying it out is for.

Gunblade is for the regen with the benefit of being hybrid, your passive attacks will benefit noticeably from it. So while helping her passive farm she has greater passive regening and is less reliant on the heals which other than being less than spectacular can be reserved for teammates or just more spear throws.

I considered getting lichbane but honestly I get most of my kills from spear throws at long range, passive attacks are not my killing tool so more AP for harder hitting spears. If you are getting lichbane it is best for midgame, same does for rageblade.

Tear and AA is far from a waste, as I said cougar attacks are free spam, and they proc the passsives so you gain mana for doing nothing basically. Its not a waste since you get more mana and regen from one item. Is it a bad thing you get both AP and mana from the same item? I think not. And Nid is mana starved early game, her advantage is to shut down the enemy early game. With this you have the regen so you CAN spam spear shots and keep the enemy on their tower all game. As i said earlier I figured the use of the skills was obvious... especially to someone who knows so much about Nid.

You shouldn't really have mana problems as Nidalee. Early on you don't need to spam your skills in order to maintain lane dominance, you just need to set up a few traps in the bushes than focus on last hitting creeps and healing yourself. You don't really need to use your Q during laning unless your lane opponent leaves himself wide open, which won't happen often against competent players. After level 6 you got Cougar form, as you know abilities in Cougar form don't cost mana. Therefore Tear and especially Archangel's is awfully wasted on Nidalee. Besides, RoA is best gotten early(as in your first big item) due to its nature of improving with time. Deathcap is also best gotten early(as your second big item) as it gives you a massive AP boost, especially if you got RoA first. Not really sure about Gunblade on Nidalee at all, it's not a bad item, it's just that Nidalee, especially post patch, does most of her damage by poking with her spear(AP) or Cougar form(2/3 AP, 1/3 AD). So basically Nidalee doesn't benefit much from AD at all, other than perhaps pushing towers which she's already great at anyway. Also where is your Sheen/Lich Bane? It's so amazing on Nidalee...
