Introduction

Hey guys, this is my first build so don't hate to hard if you don't like it. To start off, Nocturne is a great 1v1 champion so use that to your advantage. He is great for ganking and chasing down enemy players. But remember Nocturne is a bit of a squishy champion so wait for your team to initiate first! (P.S.This build is still in progress, since nocturne is such a new champ, please leave some comments on any mistakes I made and anything you think I can improve thanks)

Runes

I use Armor Pen marks since i believe that works best with him, considering his main attack uses AD.
Crit chance seals to try and increase my damage.
CDR glyphs to lower the cooldown on his spells since they have high cooldowns.

Masteries

I go with the 21/0/9 mastery tree. 21 in Offense to increase your damage and that lower cd on smite and the little extra gold. 9 in Utility for the improved ghost and the extra EXP all junglers need. Also putting 1 point in the duration of neutral monster buffs.

Items

Cloth Armor +5 hp pots to start off with jungling. Build your way up to madreds, get beserker greaves then wriggles. I prefer to get the guinsoo's rageblade next for the passive and the flat AP/AD it gives you. Next I like to get The Bloodthirster, but depending on how you are doing you might want to get the banshees veil first. I like Banshees Veil because it gives you a little more survivability and blocks a spell every 30 seconds. I recommend Infinity Edge as my last item in the build because it increases your crits and gives some nice damage.

The item sequences are in NO SET ORDER those are just what i normally get, if you are getting fed, maybe bypass the guinsoo's and get bloothirster or infinity edge.

Summoner Spells

I like ghost for Nocturne to increase his chasing capability. Smite for jungling. You CAN replace ghost with say, exhaust, which i use from time to time.

Jungling

Jungling: The way I start jungling is going straight to wraiths, smiting the big one and killing the rest.

Make SURE you hit all them with your passive and Q spell.

Next I go to wolves and kill them, making sure to hit them all with my passive and Q everytime its up.

Then I go to Blue Buff, hit all with your Q and make sure you are in range to hit the minion in the back wiht your passive. You might have to wait a few seconds for your smite to be ready.

I like to go to red buff next, but your smite not be up if you just used it on blue so watch out for that!

Next kill double golem. by now you should be level four and ready to gank, if not go to the enemy teams jungle and take their blue/red and jungle.

You CAN start at blue buff first, but have a teammate help you start it off!
