Introduction

I should warn you that this is my first guide and to be honest I am really tired of trying to read everyone's novels on characters so as the title says this is the short and sweet version. If anyone wants more details about specific issues I will be happy to edit this. Ok I know that almost everyone seems to think that Nocturne belongs in the Jungle or top but I've come to realize that his mid is amazing as I shall show below.

Lets face it there are endless possibilities on this and as many debates as to what makes players more comfortable so in the end you can tweak this how ever you prefer and stick with what makes you happy.

Summoner Spells

His Duskbringer is a nice pusher and lets you fire and run through any units right to your target without any colisions to slow you with bonus damage, and if they run it keeps a trail for you to continue to follow. His Shroud of Darkness speaks for itself to avoid those nasty stuns and cc's that can hold you down, and a great attack speed boost. Add Unspeakable Horror to hold them in place when the fear procs and you get in on and hold them down while you tear them a new one. And being most AP classes aren't stacking HP early on you will only need to Duskbringer once or twice to soften before you charge in to finish them off in blaze of glory. And if they happen to try to run past a tower Paranoia will always let you lunge towards them to resume the chase, or it can be used to shoot across the map to catch any foe with their pants down.

Items

The Boots of Speed and hp pots can be the most useful for getting in and out of the brawl considering he needs to close that gap between him and his ranged Foe. After his first kill he can generaly upgrade to the Berserker's Greaves to further his speed and deadlyness. The next item order is of course based on your performance as to whether or not you can save up for the B. F. Sword or the Pickaxe, then grab the other and last finish your Infinity's Edge. Zeal will come to help next and if you're kickin but as is you can go ahead and upgrade to Phantom Danceror splice in the Vampiric Scepter and then the Phantom Dancer. If things are a little hairy go ahead and get your Wriggle's Lantern]] then finish Phantom Dancer. At this point you'll have your damage, attack speed, crit, and run speed up to par. The Frozen Mallet will help with your hp and holding your enemy in place while you finish them off and give you the hp to deal with the dps others have built up. The last Item is really a matter of preference or situation. You can add some hp, def, or mag resist, if its hairy or boost your dmg and insert pwn here.

Farming

We all know that solo laning increases your $ and xp so with this and continual kills you will potentialy be thi highest level and have the most kills of any other players.

can solo multiple champions
can shred then fear to let others feed

Cons
Rushing will put you behind quick
A little pricey to upgrade items so a lot of farming or killing
Solo can leave to over extending
Possible to have attempted gamks on all fronts
Angry team mates at all of your kills :P
