Introduction

I have never played Nocturne, I just wanted to give his build a shot. Heres the reasons behind the items I picked.

Tear of Goddess - I don't find it necessary to spend the extra 1115 gold at this part of the game to buy Manamune, but you do need mana, so this is a good choice.

Merc boots - When using your ult these will help you get out alive.

Runeblade - I know hes not supposed to be hybrid but this item will help a lot early game as it stacks attack speed and AP every time you melee and cast a spell.

Warden's Mail - By this time its a good idea to grab something not too expensive but will save your life. This is protection from other melee champs, and a good way to get away. Not to mention good hp regin.

BF Sword and Recurve Bow - Right now you need as much flat attack damage and attack speed you can get with the smallest amount of money while looking forward to turning them into useful later.

The Bloodthirster - Lots of attack damage and some life steal, yes I will take that plz.

Wit's End - Just like Warden's Mail was protection against melee, Wit's will come in handy against spell casters. Having both of these means you have a pretty balanced defense imo without sacrificing attack speed.

Omen - This godly defense so take it.

Manamune - Im not sure where else to put this in the build.
