Introduction

The New Champ is Great. However we all know he is probably going to get Nerf soon. In the meantime lets enjoy dominating nubs and making people check their panties every time you activate your Ult!!! This champ is great for an aggressive player who likes to harass a lot. With some practice and the right combination of spells you can 1v1 almost anybody.

Skill Sequence and Gameplay

First skill you wanna get is:

Duskbringer

Nocturne throws a shadow blade which deals damage, leaves a Dusk Trail, and causes champions to leave a Dusk Trail. While on the trail, Nocturne ignores unit collision and has increased Movement Speed and Attack Damage.

This is great farming tool in early game and if you feel like getting first blood this is definitely the way to go. This is also the skill you want to max out first because it is going to allow to chase down and get those kills you need in order to buy items but it is also a great tool to get around the map and to scape as you get that bonus increase movement while on the dusk trail. It is also a great way to get kills under the tower as people try to heal under the turret and don't realize the range on it. Keep in mind that Duskbringer can go through walls, so use it to kill champs who are at low HP and flash out of melee reach. Great way to steal a buff.

Second skill is :

Shroud of Darkness

Nocturne empowers his blades, passively gaining attack speed. Activating Shroud of Darkness allows Nocturne to fade into the shadows, creating a magical barrier which blocks a single enemy spell and doubles his passive attack speed if successful.

This skill is great because you don't have to buy Attack Speed Items from the get go and it is also going to get you kills and save your life with its active. The magical barrier it creates will allow you to block enemy's cc spells.

Third skill is:

Unspeakable Horror

Nocturne plants a nightmare into his target's mind, dealing damage each second and fearing the target if they do not get out of range by the end of the duration.

This is great to chase down since it will fear them which will allow you to feed on them. The Damage output is not great since it adds Ability Power and we are not building any AP items. But the fear part of the skill definitely get you lots of kills.

Paranoia

And of course you Ult you wanna develop every time you get a chance. You need to get a really good feel for the range of the Ult otherwise you are going to find yourself activating it too early and not being able to use the dash. For some reason lots of people think that your ult reaches halfway across the map and like to complain when you are at base buying and you don't engage in a team fight in the middle of the map. However sometimes activating your Ult will save you or a teammate even if you don't get to dash at somebody.

Early Game

I start with Doran's Shield to get some survivability early game. Depending on how the game goes i tried to stay out long enough so get Berseker's Greaves. After that i save enough to go back and get Zeal, this is a very important item for you in order to increase your Attack Speed, Critical Chance and a little bit of Movement Speed. After this it all depends on the situation of the game, if you are getting fed you can save up and either finish Phantom Dancer or get a B.F Sword. In the other hand if you are having a hard time then get Vampiric Scepter. The life steal of Vampiric Scepter combined with your passive will allow you to stay in lane longer, work on your farming and try to get some kills or assists.

Mid Game

Next item you want to focus on is your Infinite Edge, this item is a great boost, its going to add a great deal of Dmg, plus increases your Critical Chance but the most important thing is its passive, giving you that extra 50% Critical Damage it is definitely a difference. Next item in your list is going to be the Black Cleaver, increase your Damage and reducing their armor is going to leave most squishy champs wide open for you to Crit them to death in a few seconds. Finish your Bloodthirster and your are dealing some serious damage at this point.

Late Game

I like to go for Banshee's Veil, the spell protection of Banshee's plus your Shroud of Darkness will allow you to take someone out almost without taking any damage. Getting your Banshee is very important, you can ult someone let them use a spell on you which is going to remove the aura, immediately activate your Shroud of Darkness to block yet another spell at this point most champs are dead or soon to be, if you land your combo right fear will affect your opponent by this moment giving you a few seconds of Damage free time to kill someone. Remember that every game is a little different based on the team composition on the opposite team. In some cases there is a champion that is dealing the same amount of stupid damage as you and its killing you as soon as you show anywhere near the team fight i.e Xin Zhao or WW. So instead of getting Banshee's Veil you will get Thornmail and just enjoy watching them kill themselves while you cut them into little pieces.

Gameplay

When you ult onto someone, the first thing they are going to try to do is to get away, either by Flash or Ghost. If they use Flash well depending on the circumstances you may be able to catch up with them using your DuskBringer. If they don't have Flash or Ghost they are going to use some kind of spell to Slow/Snare/Blind you, which is going to be nulled by Banshee after that you activate your Shroud of Darkness and block whatever else they have, at this point they are just trying to run away or going down with honor and trying to do as much damage to you as they can before their doom. Using your ult can save you or someone else even if you don't use the dash, once you activate your ult most people try to back out because it is creepy and they can't see much but it is also going to disrupt their team play, which is going to allow you or a teammate to scape or in the other hand ensure a successful gank. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO ACTIVATE SHROUD OF DARKNESS PRIOR TO ULT INTO SOME ONE IF YOU DONT HAVE THE AURA OF BANSHEE'S VEIL UP you do not want to ult into someone and find your self stunned and getting kill.

Summary
