I dont want to be a troller of any means but this build. at first , you build offensive skarner looking at ur items (hextech and rylais and guinsoo) yet u dont get tri force? so the build is not so very solid imo. You dont go very tanky either i think. So you actually have no balance nor offensive power nor hella much beef.
The guide is short , your way of writing is polite though. You ask people not to be harsh on u , thats just asking for trouble sir.
As you see , in my review i stated more negative points then positive points , so -1.
If u make the guide longer and more interesting i will see what i can do to +1 it.
I don't get Trinity Force anymore because it doesn't give Skarner the health that he needs that late in the game. The offensive items I build on him gives him 220 AD and AP, and with warmogg's to top it off, he has 4400 health. I'm not sure if you've tried my build yet or not, but so far I haven't had problems with his tankyness nor his damage capabilities. If you've tried it and it didn't work out for you, I'm sorry I couldn't help! :(

I agree with the build comment. He does tend to get focused more-so than I thought, and I'll experiment to see what I can fit into this build to make him survive easier.
about NT, that's a good point. I will try that in a game sometime and see if it really is worth the money. If it is really worth it, I'll definitely change this build to fit NT in it :)
runes: Agreed. MP would help dish out slightly more damage, but it's insignificant compared to all the bonuses Skarner would get from more AP. I'll change that immediately.
Thanks for commenting/challenging my guide! I am still working on perfecting my build, and this helps me figure out what will maximize his effectiveness in-game significantly. I really appreciate it! :D
I was just mentioning Ignite and Flash, because Exhaust/Ignite/Flash seem to be the holy trinity of summoner spells on non-junglers :P
Hmm.. most of the games I see, you have to balance your survival as Skarner, too squishy and you get focused, too tanky and you get ignored..
For Nashor's Tooth, I figured it's the single best item to maximize your Q, the more often you can use it, the more likely you're able to keep your target(s) slowed. (w/ 40% CDR, it has a CD of 2.1 seconds.. almost perfect synergy with the 2 second duration slow)
Hmm.. as for the runes.. I'd think Greater Quintessences of Potency would be better than Insight, for this reason: The AP from it increases the power of your W and the healing from your E, while the Magic Pen won't affect that.. also the additional Magic Pen would be about the same as the Potency Quintessences.
max q first
look at this persons name, obviously someone else who created a skarner guide that downvoted everyone else's... troll
