In response to my Udyr guide, because most people dont look at guides again after thinking they suck. Yes, full runes are kindof required. If you used tier 2 runes, its an issue. If you did not reach lv 3 after wraiths, you may have to go back. If you are level 2 when you get to lizard, take out the small lizards first and see if you can level. if not, you will need to B. its a pain, i know. Some reasons for you not leveling may have been that the solo mid was too close to the wraith camp when you did it, and leeched the exp, or someone helped you at blue buff and took some exp. you really cant afford to let anyone leech your exp. it screws up the jungle order. As for the runes... I strongly STRONGLY recommend it. it becomes exponentially harder to jungle without AS runes. Once you reach level three, jungling gets easier, because of level 2 Iron Mantle. Before that, however, i find it incredibly difficult to jungle with anything else. naturally, the seals and glyphs aren't designed for jungling; they are designed for late game. If you are having trouble, get CDR glyphs and dodge seals. Flat HP quints or armor pen quints are optional, but tend to slow down the jungling, and actuallly cause you to take more damage than usual. I find AS invaluable. lv 30 is kinda required, and full AS runes is required. I apologize that this guide didnt work for you.
